  • I'm coming back too. I've had an awful couple of years but I've made some major life changes, moved back closer to family and want to get back on the low carb train.
  • I live in a storm prone area. We lose our power for pretty much 2-3 days every year. I found that anything in the deep freeze will be pretty much ok for 2-3 days. The food on the inside of the freezer will last longer. House insurance (if you have it) will cover food loss. Take photos of whatever is spoiled. Also, ask…
  • I don't measure for ketones and never have. I've just started back after losing 20 kg and maintaining the weight loss for a year. It has taken a week for me to lose the carb cravings and incessant hunger. Give it time and don't panic. Your body will respond when it's ready. Everyone is different. Just keep eating in the…
  • Hi! I've been absent from the forums for a long while now and I am also getting back on track. *high five*
  • Hi guys. I've been here before. :) I lost 20 kgs and have managed to maintain that weight loss for over a year now by watching my carbs. I've been sidetracked with some MAJOR life dramas including having to walk away from charity work that I loved, my mother being hospitalised and then abused while in the hospital, my…
  • Hi. I'm in Australia but I don't fill out my diary. I use double cream. It's the highest fat and basically the same as American heavy cream. You can get it at both Woollies and Coles. Otherwise stick to naturally low carb foods and you'll be fine.
  • I drink when I'm thirsty. I probably average about 6 cups a day. Some days less. Some days more. I don't overthink it and I don't stress over it.
  • I bet that feels awesome. B)

  • Our kids! It was always our aim to raise kids who would go into the world and be decent people. So far, so good. We're concentrating on getting them safely through their teens. *fingers crossed*
  • I weigh each morning after waking up. I don't record any gains unless they stick for a few days. I find that my weight doesn't fluctuate as much when low carb.
  • This is bloody awesome. Go you!

  • Don't forget mushrooms. Fried with garlic and butter. Add sauces to your veges to mix it up a little. Cream sauces, alfredo sauces, cheese sauces. All very simple and lots of recipes on the net. French sauces are all high fat and low carb.
  • It was one night, right? Don't panic. Just get back on track and keep going.

  • To those who had an idea, formulated a hypothesis, researched, experimented and refined this WOE and then put it into everyday language to bring it to people like me who's bodies struggle with processing carbs, I give many thanks.

  • ♥ Happy Birthday ♥
  • Hands down without doubt the No. 1 is my husband. I managed to fall in love with a keeper.
  • I've drooled over the robo vacs. How well do they work?
  • I'm pretty sure no one else knows what they're doing either. :D
  • :D I haven't vacuumed in like a fortnight. Our house is mostly tiled so I sweep the kitchen but Spring is here and the cat is molting everywhere and we've had a couple of parties. It really needs to be done because there's another party on the weekend. My daughter is having a dessert bar party for her birthday. I would SO…
  • Oh gosh! That's a beautiful park.

  • What exactly are you bored with? Eating the same food? Wanting to be able to eat the same as other people? Do you feel like you would like to eat "holiday food"? Variety is the spice of life. I would get bored with hamburger too. I agree with Sunny - try some bbq chicken, ribs, wings, fish, prawns, shellfish, steak,…
  • I'm with you. Don't worry. My son has been under the 5% percentile on the weight chart since he was 12 weeks old. I can't tell you how many health professionals have been concerned about how thin he is. He eats plenty, has lots of energy and is alert. He's still skinny at 14, growing taller pretty quickly and eating heaps…
  • Imgur and Reddit. I discovered Keto through these websites, studied and researched all the information and decided to try it out. What kept me going was how good I feel. No more sore knees, no more 24/7 heartburn and indigestion, I sleep at nights, I can now lie on my back without feeling like I'll suffocate, I can walk up…
  • You should be able to buy an eye dropper that you could use. I have bought little brown coloured glass bottles with eye droppers in the past. In Australia, I've found them at Chemist shops that dispense medications. Another source might be a shop that sells essential oils or similar.
  • Yay! Congrats. :)
