After the kids go to bed. I just want to eat everything in sight that I told them they couldn't eat.

Get out of my slump and finally make it into the 150s

Way too aggressive of a goal and too much restriction is going to cause you to binge even more.
-
I ran in the morning. I don't go to a gym though so it's not an issue for me.

I think if you find it sustainable then you shouldn't worry about it. I slowed my rate of loss down when I was having trouble eating at my calorie goal for my lower weight. So I changed my rate of loss from 1 lb a week to .5 lb a week. I think just do what works for you. I lso think you'll naturally start to slow down as…

Just practice moderation and enjoy the day. Don't stress it to much. I'm probably going to eat about 5 Hawaiian buns and a tiny but of turkey because those buns are my weakness.
-
I will a little in the morning with tweaks here and there. I'm not the best at planning ahead though so it sometimes works and other days I forget to get my stuff out to thaw and end up eating something totally different then what I planned for dinner

I had a bit of a tummy apron going. Still do a little bit but it's kind of covered by my pants in the last two pictures. Much smaller now though. Starred at 205 in the top left pic, down to 160ish in the bottom right.
-
Left was a couple years ago around 205. Right was a month ago around 163. Still want to lose around 20 more pounds but I'm pretty happy with here I am at too.

Walking is great. That's mainly what I do and I've lost weight on it. It may not be as much of a calorie burn but it's still better than nothing and I'm sure your pup is loving it to.

I've lost a little over 40 lbs. Haven't really gained anything. Still the same old me, just a few sizes smaller.

I just *kitten* about it to my husband then move on. My mom constantly brings up my weight and weightloss. While it tends to be mostly good I get highly irritated by it due to our history especially concerning weight. But it's better to just deal with it and move on unless it's really hostile or rude. Then I just tell them…

I started slow. Cut out pop then candy. Stopped buying things like chips and cookies cause if they're here I'll eat them. The biggest thing that helped me was drinking more water. The more water I drink , the less I crave junk.
-
Agreed. If you don't have a realistic calorie goal and try to lose too much too quickly you will just burn yourself out.
-
Make sure you are drinking enough water especially since you are so active. We can sometimes mistake thirst for hunger.
-
Stay consistent

Good luck. I've been kind of off the wagon too. Still logging in but not logging all my food like I should be. I'm lucky I've been maintaining but I need to get my butt back in gear

It's hard to sell your fad diet unless you make the free and totally effective form of weight loss look like a bad idea. Also I hate this idea that calorie counting = restricting.
-
10 days is not long enough to see a huge difference. You are probably retaining water. Give it more time.

I'm 5'7" and 165. Can fit into a 10 typically. Occasionally an 8 depending on the maker. Womens sizes vary so ridiculously much that I just try everything on.
-
Lose weight then maintain. I'm fairly happy with where I'm currently at but would prefer to lose at least another 15 lbs.
-
Lots of great advice in here. I noticed a lot of the same. I was also probably should have been wearing a size up in clothes than what I really was so when I started to lose weight it took me a long time to finally size down.
-
Depends on how you plan to use it. I don't think it's worth it for myself but that doesn't mean others don't find it extremely useful. What type of benefits are you expecting to gain from it and how do you plan to use it?
-
Glad it works for you. I think it's important for people to discover what works for them and their lifestyle . I don't subscribe to any particular diet and love my carbs. Thanfully it hasn't been an issue for my weightloss.

Best diet ever.

I was doing weekly but I haven't logged recently because I was getting tired of logging all my fluctuations where on week I would lose a lb then next week gain 2 then lose 1.5 then gain .2 and so on. Once I actually start losing instead of maintaining I'll start logging again.

I found a really great article recently about weight gain and anti depressants. I will do my best to find it and come back and add it. It basically said that antidepressants block your brain from recognizing the full feeling which causes us to eat more. So it's not actually the antidepressant causing us to gain weight. If…

Hey. I'm 5'7" and currently 170. Started around 205. Love having friends so anyone is welcome to add me.

I'm set to sedentary cause I have an office job. I don't log things like cleaning or yard work or playing basketball with the kids. I also take a 20 to 30 minute walk most mornings with a coworker that I don't log. Really, if it doesn't get heart rate up, I don't log it.

I think a lot of people are so used to seeing us at our bigger sizes that it can come as a shock when they see us smaller. I think society's view of a healthy weight in general is skewed towards heavier as well unless you're talking about models. Just brush off those comments and keep doing you. Also, my mom makes these…
