1200 a day for a male at 5'9? 1200 is the lowest amount of calories a female. I think you should definitely start lifting but also eat more. You need to properly fuel your body and workouts.

Has happened to me my whole life. Doctor was never concerned. Blood pressure can drop from dehydration, so just make sure you are keeping yourself hyrdated. Other than that stand up more slowly.

This would happen to me and would always make me give up. This last time I just decided to ignore it and push through. I'm glad I did because eventually the water weight left. I had a nice whoosh.

What? Bones and teeth can survive a very long time. You can actually tell a great deal from bones and teeth, like diet, age, sex, disease, work likely performed, etc.

How are you tracking? Weighing your food? Picking the correct enteries? Also, you should eat back some exercise calories if you are only eating 1200 calories. You should net 1200 total a day. If you are indeed maintaining then you are not accurately logging your food.

Why are you taking what Lustig says as the end all be all? There are studies out there that come to different conclusions. He doesn't even list any references in his article that are meaningful and support his claims. You say you want references, yet don't need them from the guy you are defending.

This is gross for some, but go by the color of your pee. You want it to be pale straw yellow. If it's darker drink some water. Clear then you're plenty hydrated and don't need more. Usually gets darker after a meal I find.
