I don't work shift work but I have my diary broken down to time sections. It helps me make sure I am eating throughout the day and not let myself get over hungry. You could set yours up the same way and use it for your different shifts.

i would give up on your cheat days. i don't know how far you are going over, but I would try to only go 200-300 over on those days if you can. if you do much more than that you will sabotage your progress. a banana only has about 450 or less of potassium so even one a day, won't get you very far! does anyone take a potassium supplement?

i don't come anywhere near mine either and I get light-headed, dizzy a lot too. Even when I try to eat high potassium foods I'm never even close! I'm curious what people are eating who are hitting their goal.

I hardly ever want to drink water. I just got a new bottle that holds 24oz and I try to drink it one sitting. That way I get it out of the way. Good luck!

but you if would have burned them just sitting, it is what your body burns. the exercise burns more on top of that. so just count what is in the database or what your heart rate monitor reads. your body is still working to keep you breathing, blood flowing, etc.
