Are you guys paying for all of these programs or do you find videos online, go to gyms with them?

You all are fabulous! Can't wait to try out some of these! Keep em coming!

I eat Sara Lee Soft and Smooth 100% whole wheat, for toast in the mornings sometimes, or as a sandwhich once in a while.

Check how many servings you're putting in when you log versus how many are in the recipe.

I would be careful with those kind of exercises for your back. I also have a bad back and that's a pretty advanced ab exercise. If your abs aren't strong enough for it, the pressure goes to your low back where you're trying to relieve it. Consider trying supermans (on all fours, lift right leg and left arm, lower, then…

This. I usually feel like desserts or a snack late, so I've been trying to find healthy-ish snacks/desserts. Chobani makes some nice greek yogurt treats like dulce de leche and chocolate that have lots of protein, but feel like dessert.

If you youtube "low impact" workout videos, you'll find good stuff for apartments without a lot of jumping. Also consider a YMCA if they have them in your area. They offer childcare and they will work with you to find an affordable rate if it's too expensive for you.

Between 115 and 120 and I have a rather small frame. I started at 133

Whats your recipe for pancakes?

Smoothies!! I've done both and I prefer the taste, texture, and additional nutrient content of smoothies. One of the best tips I have before you run out and buy a new blender is to first blend the spinach and your liquid (unsweetened vanilla almond milk for me) together alone. This helps me get it nice and smooth before…

I wasn't actually claiming that you "have to" get protein within 30 minutes of working out, because I'm not a nutritionist or exercise science guru and don't claim to have knowledge like they do. I simply said that I like to. :) I feel like I'm better energized and not as hungry for the rest of the if I have protein after…

Morning smoothies have been my saving grace! Love them. I get in some greens (minus the taste) and other fruit (banana + berries of some kind) plus protein and healthy fiber and fat through plain yogurt, and or peanut butter, and ground flax seed. With unsweetened vanilla almond milk to make it a smoothie ;)

-Chicken potstickers -Greek yogurt -Their cheese selection is great -Mac and cheese -Enchilada sauce! I was always getting enchilada sauce in a can at the other stores, that I had to use a small amount of, put back in the fridge, and often eventually waste when it goes bad before I use it, until I found their bottle!…

I do mine after my workout, just because I like to try to get a good burst of protein in within 30 minutes of workouts.

Pinterest and youtube videos are good for that. Theres lots of leg exercises but I don't know how to explain many of them ;)

Definitely youtube videos. You can find them for all levels, time frames, intensities, etc. I love them for days that I don't feel like getting to the gym. And I can't make excuses about not having enough time because there are good 10 minutes ones and hour long ones and everything in between. Also, the usual, hiking,…

I never thought to look at TJ Maxx! That's an interesting thing to consider. Thanks esjones for taking the time to look into my diary. I am 5'3", so 115 is my high goal, 120 is my low goal, with my real focus on decreasing body fat. I got 1200 calories based on MFP's suggested intake based on my goals and current weight…

I tried tracking my water intake but I kept forgetting or mislogging, so I've kind of given up on that. Instead I focus on having my water bottle with me and full most of the time (just having it sitting on my desk makes me drink plenty just for something to do!) and making sure my pee is clear or very light yellow ;)

Are you asking if only doing cardio (as opposed to strength/resistance training) is ok, or if doing cardio only 4-5 times per week is ok?

RIPPED class at my local Y for an hour! Internet says the class burns 750-1000 calories per class, but I called BS on that and put in 600. Even that seems ridiculous...

Hello all, Thank you all for all of your suggestions and patience. I got out to Walmart today and picked out six star protein whey isolate. I made it after my workout today by blending it in my magic bullet with a couple ice cubes and a cup of almond milk. It had a fine taste and texture, but I found that it left me with a…

Carbonated and flavored water, seltzer + a little bit of your favorite juice, tea

I did some juicing (as a supplement, not as a fast) for a while and it was a nice way for me to get in a lot of different types of veggies, as I'm not a big vegetable eater in general. We usually juiced apple or orange, carrots, celery, cucumber, spinach or kale, etc. However, it is quite expensive (it took at least one of…

There's tons of healthier treats that you can make to satisfy that sweet tooth! Single serve treats are a good idea, I utilize those. Chocolate (and other flavors) protein powder sounds like it can make some delicious recipes! The forums are full of ideas for healthier treats. -"cookie dough" dip: plain greek yogurt,…

Depending on income, you can usually get a reduced membership. My partner and I got y memberships for $44 total, while I was a student and he was job hunting and unemployed. Now I pay $32 for a single membership. The y turns away no one whether they can pay or not, so they are usually able to come up with something…

Anyone tried Trader Joe's whey protein powder?

I've heard that spinach is actually more nutrient dense than kale. I tend to use spinach or a greens mix with spinach kale and chard.
