Many sauces/seasonings contain high levels of sodium as well, and the serving sizes can be as little as 1 tsp or less, especially hot sauces and oriental type sauces. If you are in the habit of seasoning your food, make sure to read those labels and measure how much you are actually adding. You may be surprised. I know I…

That's awesome news! And well done on finding how your body reacts to certain activity and stress. I know that those can be some major factors in our lives that can control so many different things. You are truly an inspiration!! HUGE high five!

I can feel your enthusiasm beaming through! High five girl and a huge congrats on your progress and lifestyle change. It shines!

Thank you, that means a lot and I appreciate it! :)

"English Muffins" generally have around 140 calories, 27 carbs thereabouts, 1 gram of fat, but around 5 grams of protein, depending upon brand. You could have your turkey on one of those. Add a little egg and/or cheese (you said limited dairy, not sure how much you can have) to that and your protein rises even more. Just…

Thank you, I appreciate it! :) Thank you, I appreciate it and yes, it's great knowing that others take the time to know their own bodies. High five to you girl! Listed that in my previous posts above. And thank you, appreciate it! :)

Thank you for your concern and I applaud your confidence in being a "naysayer" as you put it. Whether you choose to support someone or not support someone is your choice. That's what we all have, choices, and the way you choose to use yours is totally up to you, just as the way the recipient chooses to take into…

Huge HIGH FIVE to you! Love your story. I can relate more than you think to it as I've been on the road, same as you, many years ago with my ex-husband. We owned our own truck. It is definitely tough out there, but you did it! You came up with a plan and stuck to it. From someone who understands what you had to go though…

Way to go! Through struggles come perseverance and that sounds like it made you stronger. You look amazing girl!

Thank you for your response and I appreciate your concern, but I AM and WILL BE fine. My caloric goals and nutrition levels are SOLID and are at the perfect levels to "sustain" what my body needs/uses, including energy levels and nutrients. Binge eating is a state of mind, a reaction to an emotion. We all have emotions for…

Thank you :) I'm not doing anything special, just eating right which is why I'm very happy this is working. So glad to not have to starve myself to see results. Just wish I would've started this sooner LOL After a lot of reaearch I did (Internet and doctors) before I started (especially since I'm diabetic and have to…

This is a VERY honest response..... since you're going through a divorce, this won't be the only time that you binge like that. Food seems like comfort. I'm not sure how long you were married or why you guys are getting divorced, but divorce messes with your head, which in turn messes with your emotions. Trust me, I know…

I did a search for Kroger in California and it looks as though in your neck of the woods, if you have one around, "Foodsco" and "Quik Stop Market" are both associated with Kroger and may have the "Kroger CARBmaster Yogurt". I love the stuff and there are numerous flavors to choose from Hope this helps :)

I agree with first thing when you get up in the morning/evening (depending upon your sleep schedule), after your bathroom visit, but before eating/drinking. Just as the poster above stated, just pick a time and try to weigh around the same time each time and with the same amount of clothing or just naked

You can do this! Just stay focused and the rest will all fall into place

I'm excited for you! Way to go girl!

Try using roll on deodorant, such as Lady Speed Stick. The kind you put under your arms. It should help to keep you dry in that area If you're already chaffed and want something that will alleviate it and heal quickly... tonight, before going to bed, rub on some Monistat 7 (the kind for yeast infections, I know, don't…

Thank you :) You can do it! Just believe in yourself and make a list of reasons why you want to stick with it. Then whenever you need, pull out that list and read it over and over. For my current health situation (diabetes), I know I need to keep a lower carb/lower fat/higher protein way of living; therefore, I played…

Have you tried to make yourself naturally flavored water with items you already have in the house? They are delicious, healthy and easy to make Such as: Strawberry Flavored Water: 4-6 strawberries, hulled and quartered 1/2 lemon, sliced Small handful of basil, scrunched Water All you'll do is add water to your ingredients…
