you say your body only likes 23 carbs how do we find out what level our bodies will take. Im on week 5 and trying to stay below 20 as i understand this is the ketogenic goal. I do high energy burning exercise most days and have managed to continue this whilst staying under 20g of carbs so wondered if i need to stay that…

how do you find out what your carb number is please

i used to use oatbran a few years back when i did the dukan diet, i wasnt sure if we could use it for the keto diet. would be interesting to find out becasue i loved making porridge with it.

ohhhh i tried avocado and it went straight in the bin, I dont know how everyone can eat it :( Luckily the fat bomb worked :) and today i have just had some nice green veggies for lunch so hope it all helps. I am feeling back to normal today as well

i cant stand dark chocolate and to be honest im not really a chocolate fan so its strange that i want it, i made a batch of fat bombs instead and have had one of them. Results

I have just asked to join the forum as i suffer with food intolerances one being pasta so this may be a new journey for me to take, looking forward to feeling healthier
-
The only food i have banned is pasta and thats only because it does horrible things to my body, bloating like you wouldnt believe and also itchy skin :( . I do love pasta but it dont love me so it is banned for life. All other food i eat within my callorie allowance and enjoy it.

I was unlucky and had 5 wisdom teeth. All of them where removed in surgery at the same time, I was fine afterwards and went home within a couple of hours but the bruising looked awfull. I also know someone that had the same procedure the week after me and they had no bruising at all. you will be fine.

I used to suffer with eczma untill i did a pure protien diet and it completely cleared up. I have since added back all other foods and found that carbs and in particular pasta is my trigger.

Good for you. I have also put my scales away as i was weighing daily and needed to get out of the habbit. I weighed in on Januay 2nd and dont plan on weighing in again until the end of march. Keep working towards your goals. You will get there.
-
i was the same when i first changed my eating and exercise habits. but i agree that if it continues get it checked out.

I went to our local sports shop today to purchase some new running trainers and came across the sale rail. I found 2 pairs of shorts which had been reduced to £4 and a size extra small. I never thought i would get in them but they fit perfectly. yay me
-
I weigh measure and log everything i eat and drink, but i also use a smaller plate to make it look like a full dinner
-
I love both, and have managed to lose weight and maintain my muscles by doing a good mixture of the mainly kickboxing, kickboxercise, core and strength and jogging

i was just about to post exactly the same thing as you. I have lost 35lbs. 2 sizes and taken the before and after pics. When i look at the pictures i think i look great Yet when i look at myself i still feel fat. its like i am 2 different people one in the picture and one in my head.

I did this a few years ago, yes i lost all the weight but i had no energy, and gained all the weight back and some because its not sustainable. The only positive thing that came out of it for me was that i cleared up an allergy that i was suffering from. (not sure what im allergic to but pasta is a killer)

i havent had breakfast since i was a child as it makes me feel sick, I start eating at lunch and as long as you eat to your calorie allowance it dont matter what time it is

1 year of dieting and exercise, now its time to develop the definition.
