Have you ever felt lost with where to start? Would it have been nice to know that someone is willing to help you if you need it or have questions? Wouldn't it be nice to know that someone would like to reach out and be your friend? Instead of being a keyboard warrior and questioning why I would offer to HELP someone,…

You can do this! Getting started and being consistent is the hardest part. Luckily, you are not alone! Utilize the community, and feel free to connect/ask for help!

For athletic clothes - fabletics. Absolutely love the quality. For work clothes/day to day clothes - Kohl's.

What I use as inspiration, not motivation, is following people on instagram. I also reward myself for reaching my goals. One example: If I reach one of my weightloss goals, I purchase a new outfit. A bit of advice - start SMALL. Make small changes, whether it is parking further away so you have to walk a little bit…

I got so many gifts from students this year, which I truly appreciate, but so many sweets!! I teach over 300 kids a week.. Can't eat all of it and I feel bad.. Do you have this problem as well? I was planning on bringing the sweets to my family gatherings so they can help, too.

What I use as my go-to meals - breakfast tacos, kodiak pancakes (with variations), homemade bagels made with greek yogurt.. just to name a few ideas. I sometimes will eat non-breakfast foods like chicken with green beans.

Definitely don't eat breakfast for dinner!.... Just kidding. All myths! There are tons of studies out there that will tell you what you want to hear. Ultimately, our bodies respond differently. Do what works for you.

My plan is to get at least 8000 steps in a day, complete one workout a day, track everything as best as I can, use a small plate for meals, and drink one shake a day to help suppress my appetite. It is going to be super challenging this next week for me since I'm traveling for a whole week.. but is totally doable!

Counterproductive to your post, but I try to keep all my meals as a "main meal". I do have a slightly bigger lunch, but ultimately I try to keep all my meals around 350-400 calories, with an allowance for small snacks such as fruit. What I have done for dinners before are buffalo cauliflower, nutrition shakes, a small…

For people that are athletic in structure, BMI can actually classify someone as overweight!!! There are several different kinds of tests that you can get done that more accurately measure body fat percentage. Skin fold test is one example. Do some research on your own! Big thing to ask yourself is: do you FEEL healthy and…

Coffee is a diuretic, meaning it actually dehydrates you. I would not consider it water since it does not play the same role. Same with coffee, juices, etc. If you are wanting to track water intake, buy a water bottle with numerical measurements, and keep track of the amount you drink. Water is water! There are no…

There's tons of things you can do based off what your ultimate fitness goal is. For example, if one of my clients is looking to lose weight, I will gear their program differently than an athlete that is trying to build endurance for a marathon. A free option would be to check out bodybuilding.com. They have several free…

Eat a serving of carbs and make sure that you are drinking water prior as well.

Drink more water!! Is there a way to avoid the snack area at work?
-
Do it!!! For sure. Highly recommend a step tracker as well if you're doing this - which sounds like you do!

When I am alone, whether it is walking in my neighborhood or a new area, I carry a pocket knife with me. Crazy people are out there!
-
Mine is set to 8,000, but I try to get at least 10,000 per day as a goal on top of what my tracker's goal is set to.

I love it! Their programs are an inspiration for myself and creating my own workouts. In January, I will be participating in the test group for the new Shaun T workout. It is going to be a blast!

Baby steps! One small change at a time such as intaking more water.

I'll be completing T:20 in a test group in January! Shaun T's newest workout program!

This is what I do! Unsweetened almond milk. Just be careful about having almond milk yogurt instead of the real thing. There's some trade-ups with the macros to do research on first.

Depends on what you want in a low impact workout. Check out PiYo. Low impact and fun!

Stretch the achilles tendon. Every day! Can also stand on a tennnis ball.

I helped my husband lose weight and gain muscle! Not jealous of his progress, but proud of him. Totally jealous he can eat whatever he wants and not gain any weight, but very proud of him. I'm not perfect, but seeing him accomplish his goals helps motivate me to accomplish mine.
