A water bottle and drink from it regularly not just when you feel thirsty. Also take in food from home. Meal prep can be a pita but once you get into the routine it works well.

My Fitbit is the main way I track calories used during lifting and to track the different lifts & weights I use the 5x5 Stronglifts app sync'd to Google Fit and for the lifts that aren't in 5x5 you can use (these were recommended to me a while ago but I forgot who told me) Simple Workout Log, Daily Strength or Jefit. I use…

I reward myself with new goals. Gotta at least try to keep moving forward

I know exactly what you mean. I've lost over 100lbs so far and still a bit to go. The fat around my chest/stomach looks weird now. It sorta wobbles & hangs instead of being the firm lump of lard it used to be. But I take it to mean it's fading away and that it'll all be gone soon.

I just lost 102 lbs still a bit to go, add me if you want

yoghurt, Blueberries, raspberries (both frozen if not in season) and some granola on top for crunch. Plus maybe a Protein Works zero syrup for some added flavour

Awesome

One thing I've learned over the past few months is don't fixate on the scales. Get a tape measure & use that because I guarantee you that even if you think you've stalled or even gained a little bit of weight a tape measure will show you just how much progress you've made

You can do it. You just need to really want to do it. It takes a fair bit of effort to get rid of it and you really do need to log everythingthat you eat & drink. I started by having a week of just logging my food and when I actually saw the amount of calories I was consuming it shocked me but that made me even more…

Sounds like your head's in the right place to do this. You just need to get over the same hurdles that everyone else and that's not the very start where you're all keen but after a short while when your resolve wavers a little. I've been there it can get, for want of a better word, tricky. You talk about all the water.…

Unfortunately not mine but I took this picture a few years ago

You can get Tuna or Mackerel flakes in a tin with a sauce, break the chunks up and pour them & the sauce onto the pasta. Works great and just right for 1 person

That explains why I suddenly have trouble with my glasses! Guess I better get my eyes checked soon

Small steps, Start by logging everything that you eat & drink, be honest when you log because the only person you'll be lying to is yourself. Keep your diary private until you feel comfortable with people seeing what you're eating because opening it up takes a lot of courage but is, i believe, something that helps a lot…

I bought a new suit a month ago for my nieces wedding. Had to wear it again yesterday and needed to put on a belt to hold up the trousers.

Trendweight is great and has saved my sanity when I became obsessive about it all. Looking at that graph sliding downwards is great especially when you weigh yourself and have put on a bit of weight. It brings it all into perspective

I normally have, Greek yogurt, frozen blueberries & frozen raspberries with just a little granola sprinkled on top for crunch. if you mix it all up and wait a couple of minutes the frozen fruit softens enough to eat whilst at the same time it freezes the yoghurt a little

If you only want the basic step counter your smartphone (assuming you have one) should be able to do that either straight out of the box or with an app. Although after saying that, I own a Fitbit Blaze & find it really useful

It takes time & varies from person to person. It will probably take people that see you all the time longer to notice than people that only see you occasionally. Are you doing it so others notice or are you doing it for yourself so you know you look & feel great?

Have you checked under the stairs?

Chuck Chicken Wings (or thighs) into a frying pan with a little Olive Oil (use a oil spray if you prefer) cook until browned. Add Chicken Stock. Not quite enough to cover. Once the stock is boiling put the lid on the pan & put it in the oven for 35-45 minutes (until the chicken is cooked through). Take it out of the oven…

For ages I kept saying to myself that I'll start tomorrow and tomorrow never came. Then one day instead of just saying it I simply did it. As snowflake954 said. If you don't really want to do it then then you won't. But one day, you'll think "right that's it" and just do it. That's what happened with me. Still not sure…

Having to buy a new strap for my Fitbit because the XLarge is too large now

Remember it's not just about the number on the scales. Take your measurements and then take them again in a month. I bet they'll be a lot different
