2017 Goal to lose 50lbs!

I am a mom turning 45 this year and have a goal to lose 50lbs. After being off and on Weight Watchers for years, I am giving My Fitness Pal a try. Any encouragement is welcome. I would like to lose a good portion by June 2017.

    depending on your starting weight and height, a pound a week may be too aggressive.

    it took me 2 years to lose 80.

    ditto - am 30, looking to lose around 50/60 (see what I look/feel like after 50 lost) and yeah would like to lose a chunk by June.

    loving my fitness pal so far - the logging really helps assuage guilt and stop binges. accountability and all that in recorded form.

    You can do it. You just need to really want to do it. It takes a fair bit of effort to get rid of it and you really do need to log everythingthat you eat & drink. I started by having a week of just logging my food and when I actually saw the amount of calories I was consuming it shocked me but that made me even more determined to get on with it and lose weight
