Why not just lift moderately heavy weights and gain both muscle and fat? My guess is you are eating bad carbs like bread. Also, have you tried eating soup?

Yeah keep momentum. Give yourself time to learn , but do enough so you feel an oomph that makes you want to do it again and makes it easier next time.

I’m back at planet fitness warming up and stretching and doing a few exercises i know that build muscle. Always restarting myself but hopefully will get used to doing it regularly eventually things take a long time for me to learn!

There is an autism thing where it is hard to change places. It doesn’t matter! Learn to exercise and get more practice exercising! You need to not just try, you need more time practicing. Trying is by definition not enough time to practice something to learn it.

I have like 1/2 of my high school weight to lose. I have a mental hard time with food and exercise and never really understood it or had enough experience doing it to learn it. I am using this forum to help me focus on going to planet fitness. I am hoping to get on a meal plan diet too.

Wow I never thought like that. I have worked too that keep from the gym. It’s the soothing familiarity and starting slow that seem to help me. I never go hard but I am trying to learn to.

Forget everything you learned about diet. You want to chase the “oomph”. Eat a fitness breakfast and watch your energy go up. Then a few hours later do exercises. Then later in the day eat organic greens and some healthy carbs. Use dumbbells for exercise.

“Stuff my face with food” isn’t specific about what food you ate and what was the process. I imagine you skipped some traditional ways of eating such as setting the table, eating with people together, having a first second and third course and then desert.
