Ugh, I weigh 228lbs and wear a size 16. When I started on this healthy living nearly 3 yrs ago I was 235 and a size 22/24. I just have to stay focused on the progress I've made but really? I'm almost up to where I STARTED at least on the scale lol!

Ahh, I did notice that the veins on my upper chest, near my collar bones, were VERY prominent and typically they aren't. Get that test, I gotta know now lol! Best of luck!

This was my experience. The only thing I felt with baby number 1 at 8 weeks was TIRED and cravings were through the roof.But I didn't realize I was pregnant til I did the test.

^^Perfect. One friend lost a lot of weight just cutting portions. No need for a "diet" per se, just what you usually eat in less quantity. And try not to let junk food take up too many of your calories. That seems much easier imo

I've seen no evidence and for me personally, it just made me THINK about food constantly because I had to be ready every 2 hours with something to eat. That drove me nuts. Now I eat 3 squares and snacks only IF I'm hungry. Eating when I'm hungry just seems far more natural. I haven't gained anything, haven't lost a lot…

Yep, when I'm ready to maintain...one day...finally...I'll be eating in that range of calories. Or supposed to. I struggle to eat the cals I'm supposed to NOW for weight loss, but we'll see how it goes once I get there. I'm also taller and active, but yeah, like 1950 cals will be maintenance.

Exactly what I have to do because I'm RAVENOUS. I've read it is mother nature's way of padding us should we conceive, which makes sense to me for ovulation - when I'm STARVING - but the period, not so much. Who knows. Gotta love womanhood :)

I tried using my TDEE and BMR to figure out my happy place re: calories. I'm not sure that's a one size fits all kinda deal. My suggestion would be, if you have MFP set at 2lbs/wk loss - move it to 1lb/wk loss so you change it up and your body has to keep up with the change. Hip Hop Abs is a lot of fun! To be able to actually bring myself to exercise I needed something FUN and Shaun T brought that with that DVD set!
