I use to wear a heart rate monitor to track my calorie burn. That's the only way I can see tracking the different formats.

I'm addicted and recently became an instructor in Gary Indiana.

Heartbreaking, all we can do is pray.

I wish we had and early morning class. Our morning class is at 9.

My new favorite snack is sweet bell peppers and hummus. I really like the red or orange ones with crecked red pepper flovored hummus. I also snack on jalepeno string cheese, planters nu-trition mixes, and rice cakes.

The machines I have used seem to over estimate burn. When I use my HRM (unless its with a machine that links with my HRM) my calories burned calculate much lower up to 35% lower.

Two tips that Ive heard so far that I like are 'Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince an dinner like a begger' also 'If its a plant enjoy it regularly, if it is made in plant limit it'.

HRMs with chest straps are more accurate. I have a polar ft4 and have been very happy with it. If you can spend the extra money it is well worth it.

I try to save something for later in my day. I work 12hr days and eat 'dinner' at 330pm and breakfast is 12hrs earlier. If there is anyway for you to get in a snack after lunch that may help.

I use a HRM, I purchased it through my instructor. I burn up to 670-675, on average I would say 600 it really depends on the type of class and the songs in the set.

Your progress is inspiring. I am glad to be sharing this journey with you. You look GREAT.

I think it is worth it to get a monitor. If you do decide to get one make sure you get one with a chest strap. I use a Polar FT4. I would get one especially if you are eating back your calories, your weight, effort put into the workout and overall fitness level can have an effect on how many calories you burn, having a HRM…

Look yummy

I can see a difference, a big difference. I do know how you feel, others saw my loss before I did. Others may have suggested this but I didnt read all of the responses, but I suggest squats and side leg lifts (laying and standing) for thighs, they have worked for me.

A bikini, and anything in my lil sister's closet.

Nicely put. This makes me rethink somethings.

I only eat them back if Im really hungry and if my workout was early in the day. I often have to workout after work and I don't like to eat too close to my bedtime. I have been losing at about a pound a week doing this.

Can you relocate your treadmill? I watch biggest loser when Im on my elliptical, very motivating.

I have a polar FT4 and I love it. Although I love my HRM I don't think they are a must. I was losing weight before I got one but find it interesting to track my burn. Get one with a chest strap if you do get one they are more accurate,

A two day break does not stop your journey. This is a life time journey and you will have good days and bad ones (which we have all had), as long as the good ones out weigh the bad you will be fine. Don't give up.

I picked a weight that I was comfortable at years ago and found relatively easy to maintain. Im 4'11" and my goal weight is 130 I will re evaluate this when I meet this weight.
-
Congrats, that is great. I have a pair of size 18petite work pants hanging on my closet door and when I can fit them I will wear them for a week and do cartwheels.

I have been able to keep up with the veterans in class. Yesterday I got a high five from someone that I was almost intimidated by.
