Through our blogs. I'm in Upstate NY, he was in Chicago and when I was supposed to visit a friend out there and meet this blog guy for coffee, my friend's girlfriend flipped out. Blog guy came out here instead because he had nothing else going on and we've been together ever since.

Everyone's frame is different so it'll be different answers for everyone as far as a number goes. I found that I would go down a size about every 10-15 lbs give or take, but my real rule was, "If I can pull this skirt or pants off without undoing them, it's time to go...or if I could stand and have the material NOT touch…
-
I had a Krackel one with lunch (a mini one from Halloween) just account for it and it keeps the cravings at bay.

That's awesome! I have a pair of pants that when I can get back in them, I'll literally dance.

In NY, I'm fairly certain that if you are defending yourself or your home, reasonable physical force is allowable. You can also defend yourself outside your home with reasonable force if you are physically attacked.

We now offer an aquatic Zumba class at the pool where I teach. It looks like a lot of fun! I don't have any ideas on workouts, but I can tell you that chasing a 4 year old around the pool is QUITE the workout!

I have always slid back if I don't keep it up. It's not AS hard to restart for me after a bit, but I always lose endurance.
-
I try to keep it within 200 calories. More than 500 and I find that the next day, I'm ready to eat my own arm off! Usually I grab some nuts or dried fruit or a bowl of cereal or yogurt. You earned them! Eat them!

I believe if your body is asking for food by way of hunger, you should eat something, even something small. I personally don't subscribe to the no eating after x time (although I try not to eat after 10pm) because I wake up ready to eat my own arm off, with a killer bad mood and often a head ache which isn't good for anyone

Either way, good job!

Welcome! I'm about a month in and STILL "addicted" to it. BUT I've lost 4 lbs this last month and there were days that well, I was NOT good. Good luck!
-
Would love to hear answers on this one! I too find this confusing.
-
I don't think anything is "free" here, but I can tell you that the apple I just ate will be gone with about 3 office dance parties (15 min)

Welcome!

Put it into the recipe builder with accurate amounts and then use that. Everything I make that isn't prepackaged goes into that!

I don't generally sleep well so between 4-6 if I'm lucky. Yes, I pay for it later when I eventually crash, but I also nap sometimes too.

Awesome!

hi!

Not a doc, but if I'm bruising with color, (doesn't happen often, usually just sore) then I need to up my protein or eat some red meat/cereal. (Much cereal is iron fortified.) Also a fried of mine experienced hair loss with a thyroid problem.

Welcome! One of my (many) reasons for trying to lose weight now is that my significant other and I are talking about having kids sooner than later and while we're not ready to try yet, I have a good 30lbs to lose before I feel comfortable trying. (Women in my family gain a lot of weight while pregnant even eating well!)…

That's a reward I wish I could do...but I just bought a new to me car :)
-
Up to 6 lbs a month! Damn cycle.

I see it in my hands and feet, then my face, then my neck and shoulders then knees...can you tell that I've done this a few times? Personally, I see results from the extremities into the middle. You're shrinking, but it's hard to see sometimes.

Thanks everyone, sounds like I need some reframing in my mind. I'll work on it!
-
Love it!

Welcome! I'm newish to the site and what it has to offer, NOT new to blogging etc, but I not new to trying to lose weight. All the positive support helps though.
-
I should have said no to the cake today at my work's luncheon thing.
-
Congrats!!! That first goal is so hard to get to.
-
I eat a min of 75% of my "earned calories" for the day...and if I'm over, I make myself do something to make up for it! You have to eat to survive.

Make sure you're getting the right exercise logged in and it should account for the extra calories you need on hard days. On days that aren't so hard, you won't need as much anyway. I too am at my desk for the majority of the day, but break it up with walks and dance parties at my desk. Saturdays I teach swimming lessons…
