I'm pretty sure I posted last week joining this group. I lost 1.4 pounds since Tuesday and now at 144 pounds. Trying to lost another 14 by the end of August. Btw I've lost 26 pounds since January.

I weigh daily every morning out if habit. Sometimes I'll weigh at night too if I want to see how I did that day. I actually like it. For the most part, I see progress almost daily so if helps me stay motivated.

Lots of great ideas on here. I use this app Sworkit as well. It's a "no gym, no excuse app" and has a free version. All exercises you can do without any equipment. I didn't think id like it but it's perfect if you can't get to the gym or on vacation.

I used to run and that's how I initially started to lose weight. I did the same thing. My activity level is sedentary b/c I sit at a computer all day and I didn't include my 5 day workouts in that.

I just track calories. I try to eat healthy and watch what I eat more (especially now that I'm tracking on mfp) and portion control.

Accountant...the reason I gained so much weight during the last 10 years. I had a kid, worked long hours, and sat in a desk all day :) But, I'm changing that! Yeah!

I'm open for new friends. I am on daily and have an open diary. During the week I have it up almost all day (at work). Weekends I'm on only a couple times to check in and log. This weekend I'll be at the beach, but will at least write down what I consumed to log at the end of the day probably. Feel free to add!

chic-fil-a is my favorite I would say. Thanks to the person who posted about the Sonic one. We don't have on near us but my daughter loves to stop there on our way to and from the beach, so I'll have to try it when we go!

I do get tired and I get a sweet tooth. Just try to do the best I can during it and stay within my calories. I don't like to work out on my heavier days either. It's just really uncomfortable. :(

Cardio doesn't make you "fat" but there should be a healthy balance. Especially when losing weight, you don't want to lose weight and then be flabby. Cardio won't give you any tone or definition. I completely agree. I would not recommend having you and your children roped together in some way, especially in the ocean. that would be a huze safety hazard. My best advice would be just to do those children life vests. I see these a lot on kids when at the beach.…
