You can get the dvd at walmart for less that $10. You will need dumbbells, depending on where your starting strength may lie. I would get 3-5 lb dumbbells. I'm 26 and 173 lbs, and the doctor said I don't need to lose anymore, but everyone is built so different. Muscle vs. fat and body frames will make a difference for sure! I have a 32''.

Thank you, and I agree with the toned statement. I want to be tight and toned, and with that being said I'm weight training to increase muscle mass, decrease fat, and get that overall look.

It's taken me 4 years total to lose my weight, but I would lose then maintain then lose and maintain because the last thing I want is it coming back. I don't know how much more I want to lose but even when the scale doesn't move now, I'm ok with it.

When I started my weight loss I only walked. I started at a mile a day every day and got to where I was walking 5-7 miles atleast 3 times a week and 1 mile on the other days. Oh, gotcha. I feel that is too much of a diet and not much of a lifestyle change I can stick to. I like to carb cycle which still gives me the results I'm looking for but without the cravings of all of those things you don't eat on low carb. Either way different things work for different bodies. Agree with this statement 100%! If it wasnt for measurements there are a few times I would've tried to change what I was doing even though it was working.
