I'll be walking a half in January; I bought Hammer Nutrition Endurolytes on a recommendation from this forum. Love the convenience!

I make it with chai tea as I only like my coffee black. It's amazing. I've also used peppermint tea and Yerba Mate teas, they are also good but chai is my favorite

didn't make it yesterday, I fought an epic battle (and won) against a migraine instead. I'll take the win on that one over getting my steps in any day!
-
So like I posted, I didn't hit my goal on Saturday, but I made up for it yesterday!
-
Ah, for some reason I thought you were nearer to San Diego! that is too bad, it would have been cool to meet up maybe if that isn't too weird haha

Xylitol is a good one but very toxic to dogs so you have to be cautious if you have dogs

Also SoCal - pretty close to @genmon00 actually (I think?). Been LCHF for 16 months - tried keto and did it poorly so I failed somewhere in there - been doing a well-formulated keto diet for about 3 months now though and it's been light years better than my previous experience.

weekends are hard for me to hit my steps. I didnt make it yesterday by quite a bit...but I slept over 6 hours last night!!! That NEVER EVER happens! Definite win!!!!!
-
yes pecans are a wonderful fat source. One fat bomb "recipe" I've seen is to sandwich a little butter between two pecan halves, actually!
-
Well I not only missed my goal, I missed posting it on 9/22. I'm calling in my excuse though, I was still recovering from dental surgery (even so I came in only a few hundred steps shy). Made it yesterday though, including the bump up to the increased step goal of 9500 (bumped by 1000 from last week)!
-
that's damn disappointing! I paid for the membership right from the beginning so I never checked out the free version... so sorry everybody.
-
I have logged elsewhere for over a year but I just can't part wth my MFP friends and community. I feel you.
-
That's outstanding! How awesome is that, seriously!!
-
I have a friend who activates my auto-rant feature as well haha!!
-
well, as expected yesterday was a bomb as far as steps go however the dental work was a major success so I'll definitely take that trade off!
-
@ProCoffeenator you poor thing! I will say a prayer that today is a much better day for you. I'm so sorry you've been so miserable!
-
I'm excited for this! Which strikes me as a little crazy - new me likes such "boring" things LOL
-
well that didn't take long at the dentist - less than 45 min start to finish. And I have no idea what the hell my body has against sleep but you'd think that with 10mg of Valium in my system to deal with the dentist appointment, I would have slept ages when I got home. Nope - 20 minutes is it. GAH!!!…
-
Ah, @ProCoffeenator that blows. I hate that I have this fear and i hate that anyone else has it, too. Appointment got moved up to 9:00 (was previously at 10). There is a greater-than-85% chance that I will puke in the next 3 hours and 15 minutes before walking in. I just hope it is BEFORE I take all the valium and not…

Made it today and tomorrow is Dental Day so i highly doubt it will happen again till Friday at the earliest.

one of my favorites: avocado and eggs fried in bacon grease

09/19/16, more than accomplished 8500 steps. Think for the last week instead of only bumping up by 500 steps I might go ahead and bump it all the way to 10,000 since I seem to meet or surpass that most weekdays anyway
-
This was my first meal on Sunday
-
Hmm that's a good point, I've never done a 100% MCT dressing. More like 25%!
-
Jessi, what part of So Cal? I'm in Murrieta, about an hour from everywhere big ;) (as @genmon00 said, "the boondocks!)
-
Thanks, @kmn118 it means something that you believe in me even though *I* don't :)
-
yes! Absolutely you can
-
you can use powdered peanut butter to whip into HWC much like you would to make chocolate whipped cream with cocoa powder :naughty:

I feel like I already need valium to face the thought of Wednesday. Went and signed the paperwork and signed up for the financing today. I have to have a tooth pulled & bone graft done, then in 6 months after all that heals and grows strong, have an implant installed, and a month after that, the crown put on and finished.…

Yes, I have "rumble guts" pretty regularly that sounds pretty much like exactly what you're talking about.
