its spreadable so you can have it on some crackers- i just use reduced fat ritz or townhouse crackers- those are like 60 calories for 5 or 6 crackers depending... its a nice lo cal snack. i also like babybel mild cheddar which is 60 calories and alouette spinach artichoke dip is wonderful- 2 tbs are 70 calories... if you…

i have a very bad stomach and my doctor was concerned about the metformin making me sick. so far, it hasn't but he warned me that i should always take with food. i take all my meds with food to prevent gastritis pain. if this isnt the case for you, you need to talk to your doctor as you may need to take something else.…

yep.i hate your ex-husband too. he's a complete narcissistic *kitten* bag and worse, he even managed to convince you that it was your fault that he is a complete narcissistic *kitten* bag. well, he's wrong! its his own fault. you lose the weight, feel fabulous about yourself and then look for a decent guy who deserves you.…

-
are those calories per cup? thanks for posting- will try it
-
hi roni- yes, i do know what you're talking about. however, i chalked mine up to depression. i have many, many illnesses, had to retire early and take disability, bla bla bla. somewhere along the line, i just stopped caring about my health altogether. then two months ago, i was diagnosed with diabetes and extremely high…

i get mine from upton tea imports online-

i've been using goods season's packages with about 1/3 of the olive oil and vinegar- its pretty easy and tasty :)
-
welcome carol :) the food database is massive here. so instead of worrying about what all you can't have, look for things you can have- you'll be surprsied :) best of luck to you -
-
hi X- welcome. this is a really good site and there is lots of support to be had here. best of luck to you :)
-
hello there- you've come to the right place. you'll learn lots here and find support as well :) best of luck and feel friend to send me an add if you want -
-
can't see your diary. you need to make it viewable :)
-
wish i could help. try to think of your new eating habits as a project. set aside a shopping day every week. take your time and read labels. look for healthier alternatives to the junk food- there are so many whole grain crackers and chips that are healthy and tasty. don't keep things you know you will be tempted by around…
-
which is why i keep sugar free jello pudding, low cal cookies and lots of 100 calorie packs of nuts and popcorn ... :) hope your day improves and hang in there :)
-
yeah, i noticed this too. fortunately, i read the labels on everything and try to remember just in case it doesn't compute correctly on here :)
-
its a huge achievement! same thing happened to me and i was waiting for the "bad food" cravings but they haven't come! over a month now :) now i'm starting to crave oatmeal and oranges hahaha- best of luck!
-
congrats on doing well and best of luck :)
-
hey bryan :) this site will really help you out a lot. and there's a lot of support for you here. you're not alone and many, many people are going thru the same thing. it does feel hopeless sometimes but if you take on a few friends here, check their diaries to see what they're eating and such, its a huge help. you can do…

ahh, depression is the culprit. i go thru this at least once a week-" i feel abnormal, i'm tired of measuring, counting calories, etc., i just want to be like everyone else and eat what i want without worrying about it"- depression makes you not care about yourself in a healthy way. you'll hate yourself for eating the pie…
-
i see on your profile that you have lost weight and always tend to gain it back. maybe there's a pattern here? get some sugar free jello cups- only 60 calories per cup (dark chocolate)- maybe that will help your craving but i'd pass on eating a whole pie whether it would make you gain or not. you don't want to gain it all…
-
you'd think people would outgrow the click mentality but too have noticed that they don't. maybe start going at a different time when they aren't usually there and make some new friends :)- but remember- its never your fault if other people choose to be jerks - its theirs :)
-
i do not have kids and somehow never really thought i would. i don't mind but i do find that many of my friends seem to feel sorry for me or are doubtful that it doesn't really bother me. i do love kids and i've learned that i also have maternal instincts. but i left it up to God and don't question it or miss having kids.…
-
congrats on the weight loss :) best of luck :)
-
if you're working out hardcore, muscle weighs more than fat but i would raise your calories and i think you should be eating a bit more- more fruits and vegetables... best of luck :)
-
yes, possibly sugar and sodium could be the problem. sodium could cause you to retain water weight.
-
and i forgot to mention that i also have ibs. since my diet to lower my sugar (diabetic) i've added whole grains which has totally straightened out my ibs :)
-
i read it and glad that writing it helped you out. sounds like you've got your hands full but if you're scale is stuck, i've read that adding more calories will actually fix that. it worked for my sister. and maybe your carbs are too low which may be whats making you tired. but you've got this :) take care
-
try upping your calorie intake or eat the ones you burn. sounds stupid but i've heard so many people plateau and say this is the fix. i'm not there yet myself :) and it worked my sister who's a real diet guru :)
-
you can do it! :)
