So for it says im only supposed to eat 60 g protein, however im finding it hard to stay under that AND get all my other numbers to a good point. Any suggestions?

Yes i do regret it. Before my gastric bypass I lost 101 lbs on my own. I had actually told myself that if i lost 100 lbs in my 6 months of pre surgery weight loss i would NOT do it. However, when the time came i thought with the added "tool" that wls would give me i would do amazing. Well that did not happen for me

Im.so glad I came across this post, im going through the same thing. Just out of the blue I started getting hypoglycemic..never have I had an issue like this. And yes I had to start eating small snacks so I dont pass out. Im scheduled to see my Dr over this but I would love to know if the hypoglycemic thing is common with…

I would LOVE to know your Tofu Taco filling recipe :-) I am a big tofu eater :-)

I am actually friends with Dr. Garth Davis on facebook and speak with him often, my biggest problem is that any protein shakes make me sick even the Vegan ones. I hardly eat any sugar at all and the shakes are to sweet. It's been so hard eating meat but as soon as I started eating it I started losing 2 lbs a day. It's just…

Well I did find out that I got drunk a lot faster then I ever have before, and have decided that "girls night out" will be just fine with a nice glass of ice water :-)

I know just what you mean, before my RNY I lost a little over 100 lbs, and I had my diet and weight loss down to a science and after my RNY I have no clue what to do with myself. Everything that worked before, does NOT work now and I hate it lol. I don't know my own body anymore. And the stalls are KILLING me ugggg.
-
I FREAKED out when I hit my stall at the same time as you, it will pass I promise. I cried for a week I was so upset. You will find out that stalls hit allot but they do pass

Can you tell me how you use the coconut oil for your hair please? I have lost 150 lbs so far and my hair has started falling out so I'm getting pretty worried. I use coconut oil for lots of things but never my hair.

I'm so frustrated, I'm at another stall already and im only 4 months out and I think this is my 3rd or 4th stall. Why is it the harder I work the less I lose? And im not losing inches either. I think I have hit yet another major depression uggg. All my nutritionist says is drink water and don't count calories just keep…

I had Roux-en-Y gastric bypass on Nov.11.15 and the day of surgery I was a little sore and VERY nauseous and EXTREAMLY thirsty and I pretty much stayed that way for weeks, and even now I have to have water with me at all times. The day after surgery I hurt pretty good and was still very nauseous. But the more you are able…

gonzalesvikki I had my WLS on Nov.11 and I have had the worst time of things. Not losing, sick most of the time and so much more. I know this will pass, but my depression has gotten so bad that I am actually looking for prof. help. I sure know where your coming from, If you need to talk I would be glad to visit with you.…

I always drink bottled water and I leave it out so its room temp. I have learned NOT to drink big drinks for sure, but I find it strange that it hurts to even drink a small sip.

Well still nothing lost and gained another pound. I have called my Nut. for the last two days to figure out whats up and of course NO call back. Pretty lost and have no clue what to do. I no longer have my monthly cycle and am doing everything I'm supposed to. I have started walking a mile a day with light swimming twice a…

Ok good I'm glad it's normal. I have read about the 3 week stalls but never the 4 week gain. I was pretty freaked out. I'm going to put the scale away for awhile I think.

Ya my protein shakes are super hard to get down. I don't have very many choices since I'm Vegan so I'm trying my best to make it work. I can eat tofu now so that helps get some of my protein in :-/

I'm going to be honest..the whole reason I picked Gastric Bypass is because of the dumping syndrome...I feel I need that wake up call that what I just ate is NOT good. Strange I know but I didn't do this surgery for nothing. So I'm for sure using my WLS as a very useful tool :-) But I really am trying not to eat anything…
-
I measure everything I eat lol. I eat NO sweets or greasy foods AT ALL I'm terrified of dumping syndrome. I have done very well at stopping before I even feel full. Thanksgiving was a breeze thank God. I just stayed busy doing sing star with the family and playing with the Grandkids. It didn't even bother me that everyone…

Morning before surgery I was 297 on 11/11/15 After surgery I went up to 315 Today 11/22/15 I am 289 so I have lost 26 pounds since surgery. And as for tight pants...we have lots of swelling that will last 6-8 weeks according to my Doctor

It is a big adjustment for both of us, I just keep letting my husband know how much I love him :-)
-
Kimgravitt3 its a stick. It does leave white stuff so be careful, but I would not survive without it. Before surgery when I would work out and sweat if I didn't have it on under my belly I would hurt so bad.
-
It's kind of funny, I was a little worried that my Mom left me and my husband stayed lol. But he was sooo amazing it made me cry. He didn't sleep the whole time in the hospital and walked with me every time it was needed. And when we got home things got bad and he still stuck with me :-) Everyone has different healing once…

I know what your talking about. My husband has been super supportive through this whole thing, he even took great care of me in the hospital. But he did actually say something the other day that kind of got to me, He said in a " Joke " manner but I took it serious. He laughed and asked me if I'm going to leave him when I…
