I love this post! Yes, many of us have been there time and time again. If we keep saying "I can't do it", we won't...but tell yourself "I CAN DO THIS", and see what happens. Sometimes you can even be impressed by your own awesomeness! :drinker:

I guess I just better put those 107 pounds back on, because I always eat back some or all of my exercise calories! :drinker:

Ok...not what I thought this was going to be about at all! ;-) Great analogy though my friend! Keep on rocking it! :-)

I always save a couple of hundred calories that I can use later in the evening if I want them. If I don't eat them...well, I would rather end the day under than over! :drinker:

Once every couple of weeks we have homemade pizza. Just finished mine a few minutes ago...YUM! :drinker:

I had quite a bit after I lost the majority of my weight, but since I cut back on my cardio and started to add in more strength training it is getting noticably better fairly quickly. I guess the bottom line is that I would rather have some extra skin than an extra 100 pounds.

The whole "cut out soda and you will lose weight" is crap in my opinion. I never gave up drinking diet soda, but I did work my *kitten* off in the gym and cut my food portions in half. Just sayin'...

Awesome job! You look great!

Keep your hands away from my food, or else...

The Extra sugarfree gum that I chew while I'm working out. I figure the 5 calories get lost somewhere between all of the chewing and logging of my exercise calories, which are only close approximations anyway.

I found a gym that is on my way home from the office, and just put my workouts in my schedule for those days. In and out in under an hour, and right home afterwards. Where there is a will there is a way!

I count all zero calorie beverages as water. Judging by the majority of answers in this thread I probably won't be able to lose any weight doing it this way. Oh, never mind... :drinker: | | | V

I carried way too much weight for over 45 years. I started to notice the loose skin after losing my first 50 - 60 lbs. and was very concerned with it because of my age. I didn't really believe that I was going to be able to do much about it. With time, strength training, lots of ab work, and continued cardio it is…

I'm 58, and going strong! :drinker:
