I did it a few years ago and it really worked well for my body. Was thinking of doing a round again starting today to get back in the swing of eating better & not snacking. I am very limited in what I can do workout-wise so it's been rough.

Since all of you are using these workout programs -- which episodes focus on upper body and not lower? Due to a leg muscle injury, the only thing I've been able to really do is p90x's Kempo X -- any other episodes similar to that?

*whispers* I despise tan lines. DESPISE.

I sure hope so... my ideal beachwear is a thong bikini bottom & nothing else. *waits for someone to project their own personal dressing preferences onto me to proclaim me a slutty show-off*

Is there a spreadsheet or a private group? a lot easier on the eyes than a thread!

50+ lbs in 2 months seems pretty brutal. Be careful with not setting goals that could hurt your health!

I usually just plug in half of what the machine says.

10lbs, and then body recomp.

I wish!!! Unfortunately, can't run due to injury. Hope someone else responds.

Hey! I'm the slow friend of my friends who work out. When I go running with faster friends, we jog/warm up for a short time together and then they split from me to move ahead. I don't have any issues with that because 1. I know I'm slower 2. I know I'm undermining their ability to maximize their own health goals should I…

that i need to eat/do XYZ to detox my body from all the toxins.

I'm your height, close to your weight, and a girl. I'm losing a pound a week at 1500. EAT LOTS MORE. If you want abs, you gotta build them! Find a great bodybuilding group here, connect with the guys who have the physiques you want and get nutritional/exercise info from them.
-
Maybe switch to 1lb a week and see if that works better for you? Better to lose 1lb a week for longer than lose 2lb a week but burn out and fail to reach the goal.

I do this. I'm recovering from a leg injury and don't have clearance to run yet, but my PT told me to walk, do what I can. And while I'm doing that, might as well check my phone...

Cardio, esp. elliptical and running, helps keep my appetite under control. High protein/fat helps satisfy me & suppress snacking. Same for lots of veggies, tea, coffee, water. Carb cravings are no fun. All I can say is the longer you don't eat a ton of them, the easier it gets to not crave them.

Here, take some people from my gym...

I have two beach vacations coming up - May and July - and while I might not be quite there by May, I better be there by July. I'll get a new bikini and some cute new summer clothes! Perhaps, one day, I could even pull off a summery romper...

You seem to have figured out how to be healthier before you reverted back to old habits. Why did you revert back? What tripped you up? What can you do differently this time to address that?

too tired = have you had blood tests done recently? I had that for a while, turned out to be an iron deficiency. Consider opening up your diary so we can see what your caloric intake/foods are.

eat food that makes you feel full. protein, fiber, fats, adequate hydration. go to sleep on time. find activities to do in the evening that help you avoid boredom. open your food diary?

i tried some sort of sugar-free jam. awful. same for low-cal dressing. olive oil all the way!

Aiming for 10-15 pounds, too!

"actually I don't eat a lot, my only issue is that I can live on a bag of chips or for some reason I can not eat all day until 6pm hits and I start to crave a lot Of things , it's night time where I feel so hungry. " So you aren't addicted to food, as this pill seems to be made for. The issue is that there are no healthy…

Verity, I'm very sorry to hear about your financial situation. I think some of the confusion stems from not understanding your full situation as you didn't clarify your money issues in your opening post. Also, if you want to eat better but every suggestion is met with that you can't afford it, it becomes difficult to give…

Do not mess around with not taking your Vitamin D supplements. I had a very unpleasant muscle situation due to being low on VitD this year and even with health insurance, I'm out thousands.
