I'm down a bald eagle and the guinea pig it ate.

I would test soy out some to see if you like it before you avoid it. I have thyroid issues and have gone through replacement therapy, and I love and consume soy often because I'm semi-lactose intolerant. Everyone is different. Also, have you ever been checked for PCOS? I was just diagnosed and now know how to explain some…

Starting at 343 lbs and a size 26/28 on bottom and a 2x-3x on top (I guess I carry it well?). <3

I searched the posts for this because I was having the same problem. But most of it is because I eat a banana every morning which is more than half of my allotted sugar intake. I get blood tests every so often for another condition and they always let me know how my blood sugar is. It's always in normal range or a little…

At my college, it's a trend to wear sparkly booty shorts and Uggs to the gym. That is all I have to say.

This! it helped me so much in my early days of trying to shape up. But it's gone? :(

I'm 24 in 22 days. Am I cool enough? :)

I'm a n00b, but in for 100 miles walking, running, recumbent bike, and maybe swimming. Will make my ticker and whatnot now. :)

One of my boyfriend's button-down shirts... and nothing else. ;-)

I'm right there with you. My doc gave me hell for running at 310 lbs, but I loved it too much to stop. When I went to her with my leg injury, she gave me an "I told you so" kind of speech that left me fuming... until I threw it in her face that I actually fell at work. That's when you walk away from negative people and…

My motivation is to look wonderful in a wedding dress. I've been with my guy for three years now and while he may not be the one I marry, it's hard to imagine life without him. But I want to be healthy enough to stay around for a long time. :)

I'm here. We'll do it together. :)

Depends on the person. I know that if I am going to overeat and underact, that it is there for me to see what I have done to myself. Otherwise, I am unaware and I don't think about it. It's gotten to the point where I feel bad not keeping track, and MFP is an easier way to do it for me.

Honestly, I just let myself have a Yuengling when I really want one. So worth the extra exercise, and I can't give it up for a "diet". If this is going to be a lifestyle change, I'm going to live like I'm thinner now - things I want in moderation as long as I am willing to work for them. :)

Thank you, all! I love that most people are so kind here. :)

The best thing I ever did for myself and my eating in college (and I'm still in college) is buy myself a mini freezer. I didn't even know they existed until checking out Walmart.com. Even with my required meal plan, I feel like I don't want to eat any of the crap they serve on campus AND I have some weird food allergies.…

And me! I'm not new, but re-starting my journey and mutual support is always nice. :)
