I love Guinness. Even though it looks heavy, it's only 126 calories for a 12oz glass.

I won't settle for "lesser" beers either. I haven't had a beer in roughly a month, but if I was going to have one Guinness would be my first choice.

Michelobe Ultra is a great Lite beer.

I prefer to drink Stella, Bass or a seasonal Samuel Adams (their Octoberfest is my favorite <3).

There are also some Japanese beers I like, but ... I never remember the name of them T.T

    dogfish head IPA

    60, 90 or 120?

I don't usually drink light beer, but Sam Adams Light is very decent.

I don't drink it as a rule as I KNOW it will kill my progress stone dead but when I do I like to make it count so I'll have either Guinness or something high in alcohol like a Leffe or some Old Engine Oil ... I was partial to some Hobgoblin many moons back.

    Proper beer :)

Sapporo is hecka smooth, one of my favourites. But only on the odd carb-up day.

Otherwise I'm an Irish Whiskey boy.

I gave up alcohol but I still enjoy a beer by drinking O'douls. They have a nice Amber Ale now and it's only 90 calories. The regular O'douls has only 70 calories. I know Miller has a 64 calorie beer but it has too much alcohol in it and that's what I don't want. I'm 6 months sober as of this past Tueday, July 10th.:drinker:

My new fav is woodchuck hard cider, when I go out to popular pub/brewery here. They only have it draft there and lowest you can have is 16oz..which is about 300 calories...but it tastes like it's good for ya as it tastes fruity..lolol Just have to make sure I exercise enough to earn it now. The pub now has their own version of the cider, which looks lighter but they can't tell me the calories as no one really seems to know, so until I find out..it's woodchuck for me.

Favorite bottled is a toss-up between Select 55 and Corona with a lime slice.

Favorite restaurant/brewery would be Northern Light beer from Granite City.

Honestly, I just let myself have a Yuengling when I really want one. So worth the extra exercise, and I can't give it up for a "diet". If this is going to be a lifestyle change, I'm going to live like I'm thinner now - things I want in moderation as long as I am willing to work for them. :)

    Check out our group!

As far as beers go, this brewer tries to save calories for when I want good beer. I'm never going back to crappy pale lagers again.... so I'm pretty picky in choosing a quality beer (most of which are high in calories). There are some days that I simply cannot afford to drink my calories. Balance and moderation when dieting, not deprivation. Cheers!

Miller 64 or Michelob Ultra. If I've got a little room to splurge, one of our local breweries makes an excellent chocolate stout. I don't mind a Leinenkugel once in a while either!
