I gave up alcohol but I still enjoy a beer by drinking O'douls. They have a nice Amber Ale now and it's only 90 calories. The regular O'douls has only 70 calories. I know Miller has a 64 calorie beer but it has too much alcohol in it and that's what I don't want. I'm 6 months sober as of this past Tueday, July 10th.:drinker:

    Good onya!

I was sober for 18 years ... Then I left school.

Favorite bottled is a toss-up between Select 55 and Corona with a lime slice.

Favorite restaurant/brewery would be Northern Light beer from Granite City.

Honestly, I just let myself have a Yuengling when I really want one. So worth the extra exercise, and I can't give it up for a "diet". If this is going to be a lifestyle change, I'm going to live like I'm thinner now - things I want in moderation as long as I am willing to work for them. :)

As far as beers go, this brewer tries to save calories for when I want good beer. I'm never going back to crappy pale lagers again.... so I'm pretty picky in choosing a quality beer (most of which are high in calories). There are some days that I simply cannot afford to drink my calories. Balance and moderation when dieting, not deprivation. Cheers!

Miller 64 or Michelob Ultra. If I've got a little room to splurge, one of our local breweries makes an excellent chocolate stout. I don't mind a Leinenkugel once in a while either!
