Thank you. My gym is usually quite busy so the dumbbells would work best for me as well. Yes, stabilizing works extra muscles or so I've read. Might have to YouTube some videos for fourm. Thanks again for all of the great information.

I'd like to start lifting heavy. Do you need a spoter or are you ladies doing this alone? I don't have a gym buddy and I kinda like it that way due to my schedule but if I need one I'll have to find one. What would be the best book to buy so I can get this started? I'm already eating Paleo.

I am so with you on this one. I don't like running, never have. I thought once I got going it would be easier and I would learn to love it but 4 1/2 months later I still dislike it. I do it because I know it's good for me but I am actively looking for ways to get my cardio in with out having to run.

I started a bootcamp class Dec. 13th 2011 (3x a week) and I continue to take the class monthly. Truth be told I also go to the gym about 4-6 times a week. To date I've lost an average of 5lbs a month. I love it and I can't imagine my life with out it. It has changed me inside and out and I can't wait to see how far I can…

Butter and Olive oil are not bad, as they are good fats. I made Sweet Potato hash browns the other day. I bake about 4 of them at a time and I eat maybe half of one a day or every other day. I have also roasted them with other veggies and it was super Yummy. Will try making the fries this weekend.

LOL...this is super funny. Just last night I had my 1st dream about exercise. I dreampt that I was at my bootcamp class! Don't know what it means but I woke up at 5am ready to go to the gym. Maybe it was my guilty conscience for having ate chocolate cake at a B-day party this weekend. :laugh:

I have this problem (fight) every month with myself. Find EXACTLY what it is you are craving and eat half or just a few bites. If you don't you will drive your self crazy and eat more calories than you desire trying to substatute or compensate for the craving.

Different body types would gain weight in different places....that would be my guess. I'm 5'2, I currently weigh 146 and I'm between sizes 9-11. I gain most of my weight bottom first.
