I get that being on your feet all day is exhausting. That being said, if you want your body to look good, you need to make working out a priority. As well, make sure you are getting protein and/ or fiber at every meal, including snacks. I'm at 1210 cals/ day and I still get at least one snack a day and occasionally even a…

I "work out" at least three times a week but I try to do something active every day.

25 as of last weekend. No such thing as too much motivation!
-
I turn 25 next Friday and am on my second round of MFP too. 7 lbs from my goal weight, what what! Feel free to add me!

I got roped into helping coach a girl's on the run group at a middle school I used to teach at. It was the best motivation for me. Seeing an 11 year old lap you is amazingly effective. I know that those groups are always looking for volunteers. Maybe see if there are any in your area?

These are all really great ideas. bump.

Pre-log your week as much as you can. It makes it a mindless task one day a week as opposed to everyday. Not only that, it makes it easier to grocery shop. It also allows me to look forward to what I am eating throughout the week.

This. If you love cycling, why not do it? Cross training is important for any runner. While exercise is important, it shouldn't be heightening your stress level. I feel like it's my de-stressor. Not to be weird, but are you in college? Both my sister and myself had the same no period issue our freshman year and it…

I go in with a plan. I try to pre-log everything so I don't surprise myself and lose focus. If I'm really looking forward to something guilt-worthy, I make time for exercise. I'm the same way, I can eat and its hard to say no to a plate full of yummy food. I just recognize what I can have and what I can't ahead of time,…

It sounds like you are in a healthy weight range and need to move away from the scale. Eat a normal amount of calories and tone up. Watch your macros and try to eliminate processed foods. 800 calories and below are considered anorexic and under 1200 calories is unhealthy. Love yourself.

Have a trefoil or 2, they're only 32 cal.'s a piece so they wouldn't completely ruin your day. Moderation!

Holy WOW!! You must wake up everyday feeling amazing about yourself. Your success is remarkable!

Listen to music if I need motivation or just think if I need to relax. I try to steer clear of treadmills as much as possible. They are only good for icy days.

Everyone has days they feel that way. The important thing is to realize it early and face it head on. I log my food the day before and make my lunch before I go to bed. That way, I have little excuse for myself when I wake up. When I really feel hopeless, I read success stories. It helps me set goals and realize my own…

All I can say is that I experienced terrible migraines when I consumed them. In the two years that I have limited their intake, maybe once a month, I have not had one migraine. The worst for me is aspartame so that means no "DIET" anything (Light Yoplait, Special K products, and diet soda are just a few that have it) for…

I have been doing this over and over again. I think it honestly depends on your goal. Would you consider yourself healthy? Last summer, I was so obsessed to lose two more pounds that I started working out an additional two hours a day after working outside all day. In the end, I weighed two pounds heavier at the end of the…

24 and in need of friends too. I went away for awhile and am ready to get back on track. I'll add you!

I am glad that you are under doc. supervision and planning on losing weight. That being said, if you are having trouble losing 3lbs./ week there is a reason why. Dieting should become a lifestyle change and if you aren't feeling good (i.e. not eating enough) it will not be a permanent change. Take it from someone that has…

I waited until my friends at work offered to buy me new clothes. One of them told me that I looked like I stole my clothes from a dead hobo. It was time.

I was feeling exactly like you about a month ago. I decided to take the month off and set my calories to maintenance. I continued to log but took the occasional day off. It was just what I needed because now I am right back on target and weigh one pound less than my "lowest" before hiatus. Sometimes, you just need a break…

At the one I did in April it was not even timed. People walk, jog, skip, run. Really whatever you want to do from start to finish. I would recommend going with a group and just try to have a blast. Enjoy the exercise however you may get it and feel the love!

I am by no means a great runner like you but that happened to me yesterday. This skinny little girl gave me the dirtiest look as she was eating a plate of pancakes. I was like, really? I am bettering myself and you have the gall to give me that look. She then snickered to her boyfriend right in front of me. It was hurtful…

I don't know if it i actually that much healthier but it is my favorite treat! Red Mango is my fave!

You are so right. I think the biggest challenge with weight loss is learning to love yourself. Still a struggle but I have great support which makes it easier everyday.

College Algebra is easier but stats is easier to relate to real life. Depends on what you want.

Nothing better than sweating out vodka. I used to go to a 9am pilates class religiously on Saturday Mornings in college. My roommates thought I was crazy. Rain or shine, walk of shame necessary, still drunk, I was there. Want to know how I spent my Saturday, in a great mood. Hangovers are never a reason to miss a gym day.…

We all know the answer but want to pretend we don't know.

I have always thought Kelly Ripa had a great body. She's petite like me, toned, but doesn't look bulky.
