As a WW leader used to tell me, "No one got fat from eating too many apples." I don't shy away from the sugar in fruit as long as my diet includes vegetables, protein and lean meats.

I love the Syntha 6 Chocolate Milkshake, especially mixed with PB2. I also like the Nature's Bounty Complete Protein and Vitamin Vanilla flavor to mix with fruits.

My niece likes water ices for her birthday. I don't know if you have a place like Ralph's or Uncle Louie G's where you live. It still has sugar, unless you get sugar free, but better than cake.

That gives me hope! Thanks! I actually enjoyed training to run. It gave me a great sense of accomplishment on something I thought I would never be able to do. I do other forms of cardio as well, but just the fact that I know have to rest and "take it easy" sucks. I feel like I'll lose all motivation and give up.

I started yesterday and it was difficult. I did it, but I'm not sure I can do day 2 tomorrow. I have been working out 5 days a week for 9 weeks, including 60 minutes on the elliptical. Thanks for this post! I needed it. I was about to give up tonight because after being very careful logging my food, and definitely being at a deficit with working out, that scale hasn't moved, and went up at one point in the last week. I feel better after reading this. :)

I am a HUGE FAN of P28 100% Whole Wheat Protein Bread, which my son gets for me from GNC. It is large and very dense, so one 130 calorie slice is usually enough for me.

On a website I saw (I'm not sure if I can name other websites?) she suggested Artisana Organic Coconut butter from Trader Joe's. She puts it in Chocolate, but you could probably use it with Vanilla and a little pineapple juice and get a pina colada flavor. It seems to be the equivalent in fat & calories as PB.

I stopped, but I just stopped. I don't know what advise to give you. I stopped iced coffee too, which was my favorite thing in the world. Maybe try the 4C Sugar Free drink mixes to add to your water. I know if I REALLY crave a Coke, I'll have it.

I did that tonight! Banana, strawberries, skim milk and ice, but I added some blueberries. Delish! I know several people also make the smoothie with OJ instead of milk. I feel that would be too much sugar, and acid.

I say don't deny yourself something you really want! You have to live realistically, and most of us will not be able to deny ourselves our favorite sinful meals for the rest of our lives.

Someone just posted a website, ThinDish.com. You enter your zip code and it will show restaurants around you, and the choices for meals under 600 calories. Hope that helps...but you can't go wrong with grilled fish of the day!
