I would definitely recommend strength and weights in addition to the running. Running will shed the pounds but your skin and tone will be weak. Strengthen your body at the same time. It may take longer to see the scale drop cause you will be gaining muscle but you will be happier with your results. :) Best of luck.

Hi there, I read your post and just thought I'd give you a little bit of support. I know how upsetting it can be to have all that extra skin and not know if you can afford the surgery... But ultimately if it's meant to happen it will and sometime you're not always as happy with the results even when you do get the work…

I"m 5"1 and went from 195 lbs to 125 lbs and have now maintained for 18 months. I had a tummy tuck three weeks ago. I'm really happy with the results so far but I still have a lot of swelling and discomfort at times. I also had lypo done on my love handles. I was in a lot of pain for the first 3 days and still up to two weeks post op. PM me if you'd like more details ;)

You can do this. Life is all about overcoming obstacles. I lost over 75 lbs using MFP I've gained 10 or so pounds but I think I'm healthier now than I was at my lowest weght. I'm 5'1" and weigh 118 lbs. With a goal of 115 but I'm happy where I am since my starting weight was 185. Good Luck with your goals. The insanity workout is awesome for toning up I've loved using it.

Thanks guys. As you can tell 10 lbs was just straight boobs lol. Went from a DD to a A/B pretty quickly. Although I was breastfeeding until about a month ago. So I'm sure that has some impact on things.

In the first month I lost 15 lbs. I ate WAY to big of portions before and I did see a loss rather quickly. Try upping your water intake. Makes a huge difference.

I'm 5'1 with a current goal weight of 125 but would love to see 115 ish. I was never really tiny even before having my 3 kids my pre pregnancy weight was 130. I'm currently 139 so we'll see when I get closer to my goal if I want to adjust. I also would like to look fit and healthy not just skinny lol.
