  • Mix them together! I love a mix of mashed cauliflower and purple potatoes...add in a little sun-dried tomato (finely chopped) and Parmesan cheese, you've got yourself a very tasty side dish.
  • Ugh. I could eat an entire 20 piece nugget and large fries, for sure, by myself. With barbecue sauce and sweet/sour....<3

  • I, personally, believe that starvation mode is utter bull-pucky, unless you've been eating less than 500 calories for several months consistently. People who freak out about their metabolism slowing down drive me nuts...it's like soaking your house in water to prevent fire. Sure, no fire, but now you have mold, lovely. The…
  • Most days, I don't have my first meal until about 11 or 12. I don't think eating breakfast is necessary, unless you're hungry...I thoroughly agree with some of the above posters: just do what your body tells you is right. If that means no breakfast, a moderate lunch and large supper, go with it. Calorie counts are more…
  • Uh, it depends on where I vacay. We're doing Hawaii in August, and I plan to eat more fish than you can shake a stick at. But, in N'orlans, I'd just....cut loose :)
  • I don't eat pork, but my mom takes pork chops or loins and puts in in the crockpot with sliced onion, garlic, and a can of mushroom soup. Cook on low for about 8 hours...add pepper to taste, and serve over rice. She also usually added some crushed french's fried onions on top.
  • Every day. I agree with some of the above posters... If I've hit a particularly satisfying number, I'll weigh myself over and over again just to see that number!
  • Mine were: -find a job that makes me happy (check!) -be back at 175 by August (check and check!) -smile more, frown less, and be a better person (check, check, checkity check!)
  • We're doing chopped chicken lettuce cups tonight :) spicy and delicious, with mushrooms and chopped carrots mixed in. I serve grilled zucchini and roasted broccoli on the side.
  • I actually set goals to reach before I do cheat meals :) it works well...yeah, I know, they say you shouldn't reward yourself with food, but if I want to go out to the local wing joint, damn it, I can. And if I feel better after losing another three pounds before I do it, who should care? I think "cheat" meals are a good…
  • Probably kick them in the tender bits for potentially giving me herpes.
  • I think being fat is a mental disability, but that's pretty much the end of it. People with "big genes" (like my family) aren't fat....they just aren't small. But being FAT, that's a mental problem, and NOT one that warrants special disability, or that parking spot right up front. Make 'em walk.
  • Garlic should practically be its own food group, it's so amazing.
  • It depends. It's either clothes, or new toys, or food. Yeah, yeah, yeah, "don't reward yourself with food." But you know what? If I tell myself I'll be able to treat myself to a luscious supper and some creme brulee if I lose X pounds, it works!

  • This is SO true...but why? And why aren't glass cabinets placed in the bathroom for convenience?
  • I'm attracted to tall, muscular (not fit...muscular, heavy duty) weightlifting women. If you have killer guns and thighs like iron, I'm there! I love women with wide shoulders, and a nice tush doesn't hurt either :3
  • I honestly don't think that it would be a problem...I eat about that many calories a day anyway, and I've never had an issue. However, ignoring what the fear-mongers on MFP say about slowing down your metabolism (which takes MONTHS to do, I might add, and months like closer to a year than two or three) you may just want to…
  • I think tall women in heels are very attractive! My cousin is 5'11" in heels and she's one of the most graceful women I know :) I think women of any height are attractive in heels.
  • That entire article was terribly written and obviously full of bias. That bit aside, I think my ultimate goal for that gym would be to have my membership revoked... "You're too fit and skinny to be here anymore! Get out!" "Yes ma'am! Thank you, ma'am!"
  • I think turkey bacon is nasty, honestly, but because of a pork intolerance, I can't eat regular bacon, so we get chicken bacon, and beef bacon from a local butcher. Beef bacon is my ultimate favorite...it doesn't "taste like bacon" in the tradition sense of the word, but it's salty, gets crunchy, and is meaty and delicious…

  • No, I'd prefer not to date someone shorter than I am, but I'm only 5'3", so it's unusual...the only woman I've ever dated who has been shorter than me was 5 feet tall. I prefer my women somewhere around 5'8" to 6', but my current girlfriend is only 5'4" and it hasn't been a problem.
  • We bake thighs sprinkled with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika and cayenne. Served with some roasted broccoli (which you can also make in the oven!) it's as perfect as a simple meal gets.
  • I have anemia and low blood pressure...not the best combination. Eating a lot of leafy greens and red meat at least once a week helps. I add in iron supplements too, to help with the anemia. But, I agree with the poster above...it's really just best to take a few breaths and rise slowly when getting up.
  • Jesus Christ, people are judgemental. I say, explain to her that the baby can't be yours, and why. If she's trying to pressure you into marriage when she knows you're already happily married, there's something amiss here. I'd ask her to go to the doctor for a paternity test and, when it comes up as not yours, have a big…
  • I just stab the entire thing all over with a meat fork until it looks suitably holy, then cut it in half and cook it at 410* for about 75 minutes, or until a fork goes into the flesh with no hesitation. Let it cool a bit to edible-ish heat, then string it up with a fork. I like to add some sour cream and brown sugar to it,…
  • Doing hot yoga makes it SO much better! I love it...the stretching eases pain, as does the heat. It just makes everything nice...and working out, then taking a hot shower to loosen up the cramps down there does wonders <3
  • Whole bags of croutons Homemade croutons (I love croutons!) Instant chocolate pudding...made with half the milk, and fluffed into whipped topping Peanut butter and beef bacon on celery Artichoke hearts and buttered toast Rice crispies topped with brown sugar and evaporated milk (the tinned kind) Tuna salad with boiled egg…
  • Bahahaha, this matter's been settled some years ago: my girlfriend would be Jamaican Kreme, and I'd be Tiffany Tightbottom.
  • I think that people get really wrapped up in the modesty vs immodesty of the bikini...honestly, I want to ultimately rock a bikini because bikinis are made to amplify your better body traits. One-piece suits can be cute...they can be fun, and colorful, and adorable, but I've never, ever seen a one-piece that's sexy.…
  • I'm 5'3" tall, and 175 pounds. My bust is 43", my waist 33", and my hips 44"
