Hey guys, I'm hoping to start this soon as well. I still need to get a medicine ball and maybe dumbbells (I have 6 lbs right now, not sure if I'll want them heavier). I suppose I cooould do this at the gym, but from what I've heard, it is so hard and I'm going to be exhausted afterwards, so I'd rather do that in the…

I would put the running first, and fit in the P90X around it - making sure to leave one day for rest! :)

I don't wear my engagement ring when I am lifting weights (don't want to accidentally damage it), swimming (don't want to lose it), or showering (also don't want to lose it!). Edit to say: not married yet, so it could be different once I have a wedding band!

I don't even HAVE kids yet and I agree with this ^^^

[edit to remove - I wasn't fast enough haha]

Have you never spent a holiday together?? What did he do LAST Christmas? Or did you just meet...? These are reeeeally big things that need to be addressed ASAP

All of these responses are great. I agree with pretty much all of them - kindergarten is very young. To the person talking about the issue of her daughter's self-esteem, one thing that pops in my mind is that today she is being picked on for hairy legs (which yes, can be taken care of), but what if tomorrow it's because of…

This is BEYOND exciting!!! And you are very deserving to be part of the magazine!! Keep us updated and if you get more of the pictures, I can't wait to see how it all comes together in the Dec issue!! :)

That sounds like a wonderful idea, I say do it! Running outside can feel so much better too. I use a similar tactic if there is a chance of thunderstorms about to happen, that way if I won't be miles away if it starts to get nasty out!

this makes me smile!! :-) Good work!

Oh man, that's such a bummer, I'm sorry. The red flag for me was the itching and burning - definitely calls for a trip to the dermatologist. Make sure you tell him about changes in eating - it could be a change in hormones/nutrients/etc. Good luck!!

Doesn't matter. I have a Polar FT40 men's version (it was cheaper on eBay than women's haha) It's slightly bigger, but nothing wacky, and plenty of holes in the watch strap, it would never be a problem. Also, all the Polar's you can set the gender on, regardless of what "model" it is. GO FOR IT! I saved a bunch of money…

WOW!! You look AMAZING! and you are just exuding confidence and happiness, love it :)

Carry a clutch in one hand (and don't put it down) - that leaves only one hand for eating/drinking, and it's hard to hold a plate and eat with only one hand. In your open hand, either munch CAREFULLY and slowly, or have a drink to sip on!

stomach and thighs. When my weight gets lower (like in my peak training for a race) my stomach looks much better, but I have genetically larger thighs I suppose!
-
Honestly, unless you know them or they have hired you as their trainer.. I wouldn't say anything. I would find it annoying.

The pink one looks AMAZING on you, and I LOVE the top of the blue one too. So those would be my #1 and #2 picks. I think that since you have lots of tattoos you can go for a solid color bikini, so as not to take away from your body art! :) GREAT WORK!

Trying to get around 17-18% for running purposes. Currently around 20%, almost 19!

I like 4 and 2 (but would go with 4. 2 is a little short for a formal event in my opinion)

fever - NO EXERCISE!

hahaha, this cracks me up. When I read the title, I was just wondering, "what the....?" and now it all makes sense :)

target! so cute and affordable :)

So funny you posted this. I didn't tell ANYONE I was on it for a long time. I think since I was already in the "healthy" weight range (at the top of it!) I thought my friends would think I was being really stupid or superficial. I JUST told my boyfriend about it a few months ago, I've been dating him 5 years, and on here…

30DS was the first thing I did when starting MFP, I did it 30 days straight. It's only 20 minutes and the weights are light. You can modify each move if you need to!

I was wondering this exact same thing! Thanks Amybg for that awesome answer! :)

OH. MY. GOSH. That is scary!! It's one thing to have a scary clown on his birthday, but having the clown STALK a child for a WEEK?? those kids are going to grow up to be so frightened :-(

I'm 24 years old. My first 5k at 21 was 32 mins, and my PR when I was 23 is 26:05.

I'm not vegan, but my brother is - and he LOVES it. He loves the way he feels now and with some preparation and experimenting, he's now able to eat it quite naturally (going out to eat is a little harder). I got my edition of Runner's World this month and there was a long article about ultramarathoner Scott Jurek who is…
