And, for the record, I drink at least 80 ounces of water a day (usually more), and I sleep at least 7 hours every night. And I do not consider that to be part of my weight loss plan. I just consider that to be part of my life.

I do completely agree with this, which is why I have chose a "simple" food plan of counting calories only. I am a little flummoxed by the fact that, at this weight, I am (most certainly) eating a deficit, and yet I'm not losing.

So I'm going to have to learn to hunt and gather? Even fresh meats cut by the butcher have NI on them these days. But yes, I understand what you mean.
-
I think we can all at least agree that getting enough water and sleep are at least not *bad* for you, whether or not we agree about how good they are.
-
Oh, I definitely sleep enough! I LOVE to sleep! (Seriously, though, I get at least 7 hours a night, and more on weekends).

Yes, I absolutely am weighing and measuring correctly (a skill I learned during my days of Weight Watchers). I have a digital food scale and many, many sets of measuring cups and spoons. I am also sure to measure out any oils I use for cooking, as well as the 1 tbsp of creamer I sometimes enjoy in my coffee.

In my opinion, it is a safe and healthy diet. It relies primarily on "whole" foods that are naturally filling. Just don't rely on the SBD-brand pre-packaged/frozen foods.

I wear a heart rate monitor during class, and I burn 600-700 calories in an hour, depending on how hard I exert myself.

You might call around and see if there are any Zumba classes in your area that do not require a gym membership. I go to a Zumba class at a gym that does not require me to be a member to attend the class. I just pay $4 per class to attend. There are also classes in my area that meet at churches and cost very little, like $2…

Yes. On waffles, so there are little pockets to hold the melty PB goodness.

All soda has an expiration date. It will eventually go flat, even when unopened.

Unfortunately, lululemon does not carry plus sizes.

I wear capri-length workout pants and a t-shirt. I actually started wearing a leotard underneath it all because my shirt tends to ride up while my pants tend to ride low, and I was exposing too much skin. Now that I feel covered and comfortable, I can focus all my attention on making the most of my workout. ETA: My stuff…

Ditto. I loathe doing the floors.

Tonight, I will celebrating the fact that I went to Zumba! I have only been going for a few weeks, so it's still new and not yet a habit. But I'm starting to love it!

Make sure you're sitting all the way back in the seat and not letting your butt/hips slide forward. The further forward you sit, the more difficult it is for the sensor to determine your weight.

I don't know about anything called the "classic" plan, but I think 123 Success was an exchange program (not a points-counting program). Regardless, the way WW calculates points changes pretty much with each new plan, so you need to make sure all your materials are called the same thing. There was Momentum, and then…

Committed. (In the I'm-going-to-stick-to-it way, not the sent-to-the-looney-bin way.)

1. How long did you plan? Eight months. 2. How much did you spend? (sorry if that's personal) Was this more/less than you planned? $35k, which was a little more than planned 3. How many people were invited/ how many showed up? About 550 were invited. About 300 showed up. 4. What did you give out for favors (if you had…

When I was in college, I bought myself a sapphire and diamond ring that I had been admiring for months and months.

Mine is open. Just don't pay too much attention to today. There was a McDonald's incident.

I feel dumb. I came in here prepared to give actual advice because my cat had to go on a diet and we had to increase her exercise. She's lost 4 pounds, though!

It is a secret formula known only by the great Earl of Sandwich himself.

Actually, you apparently want sweets more than you want to be fit. When I decided I wanted to lose the weight more than I wanted to indulge my cravings, I was able to stop the constant cheating and mind games I was playing with myself. Put on your big girl panties, sister. You have to decide whether you want to lose weight…

I think of between-meal hunger as a sign that I am *not* over-feeding myself, and that I *am* letting my body burn fat for energy. You're not going to go into starvation mode between meals. As long as you get the nourishment you need in a day, you're fine. What is the saying? "No one ever starved between meals."

I disagree. Real (name-brand) Spanx are fine. I wore them all day on my wedding day (10 a.m. to Midnight) and I was fine. And that was in July in Alabama. I wear them often for a full day and they're not uncomfortable.
