Yeah, I have been seeing that too!! Not quite sure what that's all about.

I struggle with this as well, I finally have put all the crunchy snacky stuff into individual serving size containers. I can still eat more than a serving, but I KNOW how much I am eating...

That's fantastic!!! You should be very proud of yourself! :drinker:

Hi Scott, I had managed to lose close to 30# and gained back almost half of it. Through all of it, I tried to keep logging, although there were MANY days when I only logged breakfast, and tried to tell myself that I wasn't eating that much. I finally contacted a dietician and a counselor who are beginning to put some…

You look fabulous!! congratulations!

I feel your pain, I have been a binger for many years. I still struggle with it, I sabotage myself, i believe because of a fear of failure. Fear can keep us frozen and unable to make progress. I'm actually talking with a behavioral health counselor and that is helping! I know when my time is that gives me the most trouble…

I know you said you are looking for Zumba, but on YouTube there are a BUNCH of HASFIT videos and I have been doing those, just something different, Oh, and Hip Hop Abs on there too. :)

I'm 54 and have often wondered if it is too late to lose the weight. I would like to shed about 40#. Then I realize that it doesn't MATTER the age, it's still important, and there are still LOTS of benefits to dropping some pounds and getting more fit. Have a great day!! :flowerforyou:

I'm still 54 for another 3 weeks or so. I have been stuck for a LONG time, sabotaging myself and eating like crap. I finally feel like I"m on the right track. I would love to knock off about 40+. Feel free to add me if you like. I live in Florida, and it's super nice, although the heat is building!! Sharon

I have Celiac disease, and have been gluten free for over 10 years. Going gluten free literally gave me my life back. I also gained about 60#, but then that's why I am here. :)

I've been GF for more than 10 years, and the effects are awful. Vomiting and diarrhea, bone tired for a couple of days, then slowly start to come back. It's no fun at all.

You look AMAZING!!! Congrats to you!! :drinker:

It's dicey, here in the US, I have actually seen stuff labeled as GLUTEN FRE E, and then when you check the ingredients, it says manufactured in a facility that also processes tree nuts, wheat, etc. We have to be so careful because, as another poster said, even if we don't get sick, we can still be causing ourselves…

Hi, I know this post is a month old, but I have just embraced OA. I realized that I need help and I'm so tired of being a slave to food. Too soon to tell if it is working. Sharon

Dark Chocolate Dove. I allow myself a bit each day... unless of course, I have been piggish in other ways. :blushing:

Thank you, what you say is soooo true. While I try to keep the negativity away, I DO find that I AM my own worst enemy. Thank you for reminding me that EVERYTHING has a positive side to it (well... almost everything). Sharon :drinker:

Hi Everyone!! did not do so well in March, I would like to lose 5# in April and find ways to move every day. Have a lovely day Everyone!!! Sharon from Central Florida.

I have no pictures from when I INITIALLY started losing, but I took some a couple of months ago, and yes, I was HORRIFIED by what I saw. I find that I have to suck it up rather frequently and view them again, to keep myself motivated.

ginger ale and rest is about the only thing that works for me. Hope you are feeling better.

OMG, I LOVE Cream of Wheat, had it when I was a kid, up until I was diagnosed with Celiac... My fave was to make it with lo fat milk and a bit of Maple Syrup on it. YUM!!
