I have noticed quite a lot of people on here have protein drinks to increase their protein intake or have peanut butter. For me I think there is too much fat in peanut butter to class it as a 'protein rich' food

I lost 60lbs up to June last year and regained 18lbs after my marriage ended at that time and I stopped exercising (struggled to get to the gym being a single parent) so now I am here trying to lose my next 28lbs. Good Luck and I'll send you a friend request

I'm frustrated at the moment. I joined MFP 6 weeks ago and had already lost 40lbs. In week 1 - 4lbs, week 2 - 3lbs weeks 3 + 2lbs week 4 + 2lbs week 5 - 4lbs week 6 (official weigh in day tomorrow) I have gained 4lbs. I don't like #2, I like #4 but looks more like a dress you would wear for a job interview rather than your brothers wedding. so I would go for #1 or #3. #3 would look great with some heels and accessorize it with one of the colours from the dress.

I am 5'8" tall and currently weigh 210lbs so my BMR is around 1700 calories, if I apply the Harris Benedict formula to a sedentary lifestyle it gives me a maintenance calorie goal of 2040. To lose 1.5lbs a week I need to deduct 750 calories from that to give a new calorie goal of 1290. I will then eat back any exercise…

I am so bad for weighing myself everyday and I know I shouldn't because I don't like what the scales say. A week last Sunday I went for a 15 mile walk and I weighed myself that evening and then when I weighed myself the following morning I had gained 2.5lbs (normally I weigh less in a morning not 2.5lbs heavier). This is all too technical for me, yesterday I ate just over 1300 calories and this morning I weigh 1.2lbs heavier than I did yesterday morning. So to say you need to eat an extra 3500 to gain a lb doesn't make sense
