  • Great! Just added you! Maybe there's more paleo peeps trying it?
  • The CARB NITE SOLUTION. Interesting program to create the hormonal environment to loose fat. Ultra-low-carb for 5 to 7 days, then massive carb-refeed that boosts all the hormones needed for fat-loss. That's it in VERY short.
  • Maybe you can get some raw sauerkraut? Or make it yourself, it's easy and brings you loads of beneficial cultures for your gut. Few tablespoons after breakfast really help. Also drink licorice tea, it helps to reestablish a healthy gut lining. I would really try an eliminiation-experiment in your case to find the food…
  • Keep it up guys, I think you are doing it right. Just read a publication today that found out that it REALLY improves joint aches and helps with rheumatoid arthritis. Very good stuff. I am taking Eskimo-3 fish oil BTW. I always try to find an oil that has higher DHA than EPA (DHA is better absorbed obviously) and without…
  • So you end up having about 2 and a half gram of it, right!? I am taking about 2 as well, am curious about the experiences of others with that... Did you notice any specific change/improvement from taking it?
  • Oh, I'd be interested in that as well!!!
  • So how many grams/milligrams of EPA+DHA do you get in total, that was what I was wondering about?
  • I am usuall really strict and just came (or better will be coming) out of a whole60 tomorrow. Feel free to add me. I have been primal/paleo fully since March this year and am still trying to find the perfect balance in my diet, but I think my choices are mostly really good. Looking forward though to try and reintroduce…
  • Check Elana's pantry on the web, I think she has a good recipe using almond butter etc. No milk or other 'forbidden' substances involved. But I generally agree on not 'having sex with your pants on' and recreating foods like bread... the paleo friendly versions usually turn out to be very calorie heavy..
  • I love the julienne slicer (handheld small one) a lot. I use the core (for example of zucchini) for my meals as well, cut it up and put it in the sauce.
  • Congrats!!! I am soooo inspired!!! I cannot afford any screenings at the moment, but will do as soon as I am back in my home country next year.... looking forward to it. Like you, I truly believe in paleo and your example shows this once more!! Go on like that!!!!
  • I am actually using the elliptical not for a long time yet... I had a broken foot in July and am only getting back into exercising... Am only allowed to do the elliptical at the moment. I used to do a lot of bodyrocking (resistance and body-weight exercises) before and want to incorporate that again as soon as I can. Until…
  • YAY! So more fat & more calories? Wow. Or perhaps less exercise! Both sound not too bad!
  • I had my fat at 60% for the last months and it didn't change anything. Didn't lose either.... neither when I exercised nor when I didn't. During the first whole30 I ate at around 60% fat still, but as nothing happened, I reduced it a bit now for the second round. At the moment I am drinking at least two large pots (1L…
  • Thanks meg!! I was actually thinking about exercising a bit LESS... and I am only desperate because beginning of this year I seemed to have no problem to stick with my weight (which was lower, not much, just that bit that makes the difference) then! I am eating cleaner now though and exercise more! The human body is sooo…
  • Oh and I forgot to say... don't be mislead by the pic... I haven't changed it since I started gaining instead of loosing!
  • Best thing ever... the only cookbook (and I have many) that I am ACTUALLY USING ALL THE TIME! It looks a bit worn down already because of that and I think it's the best sign! Great recipes, but also a good plan how to cook quick and easy meals that you can have when there's not so much cooking time. You'll love it!
  • Love it as well!! ;o)
  • Read 'It starts with food' and you will get all the reasons and science behind the whole elimination of certain foods. Afterwards you can decide for yourself whether it makes sense for you or not.
  • OK, 11 days in and I'm feeling fine! I got rid of my unhealthy relationship with nut butters now I think and am more conscious about eating them. Otherwise, I did my first big 'cook up' yesterday as described in 'well fed'. Let's see whether I really have more time then this week when things are already prepared... it took…
  • Wohoo, it's day 6 already for me and (even though I've got the feeling I'm coming down with something) I am really happing with the eating! I'm never hungry and do not snack during the day at all... before I was so sure I needed something every three or so hours.... now I'm convinced I DON'T! Great! And my digestion…
  • OK... thank you all, now I'm no longer feeling guilty for logging everything... It is so good to have more people here that can support you and also help out with all those little questions that arise on the way! So thanks again, this is a great community!
  • I think you are right. I won't weigh myself though during that time. Will keep track of my cals and see how it goes. I also want to know about the fat and carbs I'm taking in. What macros do you use for the whole30?
  • Yep, that's kind of what I did. And I had some steamed Mackerel with my meal before, so it could last longer. Worked perfectly!
  • Add me if you want, diary's always open and I am usually paleo with tiny primal 'cheats' from time to time. At the moment doing whole 30.
  • AAAAWWWW.... having a huge headache right now... anyway I had a nice watercress & rocket salad for lunch covered with some roast beef (no additives), few mushrooms, half a yellow pepper, bit of cucumber and a tomato. Will have a tiny can of tuna for snack and later at home zucchini spaghetti with beef-bolognese sauce (from…
  • Hi guys, I have started now as well! Today is day 1 for me and I am quite happy so far! Had an egg and egg whites with broccoli and a bit of chicken for breakfast.... I' d love to hear more about breakfast alternatives that you guys do!
  • I totally get you all... after all it is still an american product.... so ordering it from the company directly would probably be much more expensive for me and also give me trouble with the customs!!
  • Right... now I found them on amazon.co.uk.... and guess what: they're out of stock!!!! Hahahaha.....
  • Hey there! Yep that's a really good exercise, bodyrockers do it a lot. Vacuums is a breathing technique combined with ab exercises, makes them more effective. Check out the sixpack challenge on sixpackfactory.com; he explains it in one of his videos!
