  • WELCOME!!! This is a great site, as you must already know, but it has been a big help for me and I know that this site will help you reach your goal and break through 'the wall'! Congrats and good luck!
  • Everyone needs a Mac Attack every now and again - we're just human after all =) It's clear that it's not an every day event for you so no harm done!!
  • OMG - I feel the same way ... I was getting no where's! I over eat like crazy and I eat tons of junk =( I suppose I don't really have any great advice but don't feel alone, I log all my food honestly and I find that helps me when I am going WAY over to get my control back. I have enlisted the help my husband, and he'll…
  • I've had my ups and downs too, I'm sure everyone has ... but we're all in this for the long haul and there will be times when you're going to eat pizza (yes the whole pizza!) and thats okay because you're making the right choices most of the time!!! The key is to not let it snow ball out of control and let one bad choice…
  • Yeah, I agree with everyone here... about people trying to be kind and thats their way of saying how great you look now! Plus Ocean_91 made a really great point, its hard for people to get their head around a number... people will understand once they seen you at your goal weight! Good luck!
  • The scale and the BMI chart are just tools of measurement, and you shouldn't let them dictate how you feel about your body. Use them as a guidelines!! And don't stress!! Good luck

  • i find it so hard to believe that she didn't know he was away.... some girlfriend!
  • I know this is going to sound strange, but damn i wish i was you! All i want to do is eat, which is not very good for a diet. It seems like you're in a place were food isn't controlling your life, which sounds like a good place to be. I can understand how being uninterested in food would make eating seem like a chore, but…
  • Hi there, i've seen this question come up a few times... and everytime people will say to eat those caloires. For me i can't eat those calories, if i do i dont lose weight... my personal trainer agrees with me too. however, i feel it's personal it every person. what works for me may not work for you, i believe it's all…
  • I've been feeling really bummed out lately too, i was just saying that i am sick of logging my food. I've been at this for 10 week (this friday) and my weight has gone up and down... i feel like i'm fighting for every pound. I want to quit to... i'm starting to think i could learn to like my weight (total lie)...but my…
  • Halifax, Nova Scotia here!
  • howdy, well... i'm not sure what your goal weight is - i would guess that you're getting close. Perhaps you've hit a platoe?? Maybe you need to change things up - try something different, either in your eating or in your workout. I think if you keep pluging along you'll get through this and get to your goal - just keep…
  • I hear you!! It's something I have in the back of my mind too... however, I'm trying to forget about it for now. Focus on the weight loss and take care of your body (moisturize).I asked my trainer today about it actually and she told me that most people's skin goes back to normal. I think you're jumping the gun because I…
  • Maybe you need a heathly snack, maybe you're tired and rundown and need a little boast? Perhaps if you could hook up and go with someone it would feel more like an apointment.... or maybe you need to reward yourself for going and give yourself little treats, like picking up a magazine that would could read while you work…
  • 1210? That would be a tough one, don't worry though.....you'll get to a point where you'll have your eating down to a science! when i go for groceries i read the labels and i try to keep in mind what my calorie limit is. don't worry - you'll be able to work it out! good luck!
  • Ya the biggest thing is to stay positive!!! Stress is NOT good for weight loss!! Every day is a new day, a fresh start. You've been working really hard, and it's very normal to have bad days its important to not beat yourself up. also how in the world did you lose 60 pounds in a month??? 15 pounds a week? please do tell...…
  • Well, you've taken a great first step by joining up with myfitnesspal.... log your food and (as my trainer tells me) start with little chages - trying to take on too much on at once will be too overwhelming. One step at a time, one day at a time. Plus this site is great for getting support, people are always willing to…
  • I say don't look to the past! How do you feel now? People change over time, it's unfair to look to the younger version of yourself and compare. If you feel that you're not at your goal and would like to shed a few more pounds then go for it!! But if you feel good and are heathly then perhaps you're being too hard on…

  • I understand where you're coming from, i've wanted to drop large amounts of weight before in a short period of time - however - every time i tried i failed. i say try your hardest, workout and follow 'myfitnesspal' calorie guide and you will do very well!! you may even come close to your goal, however i think that making…
  • I would agree that the heat would be a hugh factor for your fatigue.
  • My friend joined curves and lost weight, she only ever had good things to say about.
  • Good job dude!!! Keep up the good work!
  • Hi brides-to-be... welcome and good luck!
  • Some people are just toxic, this person is rotten and just said that because she's jealous!!!!! The best revenge is looking good!! So keep up the hard work, don't let her words get to you!! As for the next time you see her, don't even think about because it doesn't matter. She's not worth the effort, let your hotness do…
  • 5'7 and 133 lbs is a great weight...my thoughts are that if you're feeling soft then you should be all about toning up and sculpting you're body because there is nothing wrong with your weight. Be sure thay you're not being too hard on your body though. Good Luck!
  • Yeah, I agree on having someone help you - it can be tricky to do it on you own. 33 pounds is so awesome!!! Way to go!!
