Hiiiiii! On Metformin for more years than I can remember :D

Hi! Not keto but definitely low carb due to insulin resistance.

Thank you! I'll browse as my anxiety allows.

Thank you ladies! Lovely connecting with you :)

The word "many" implies "not all" i.e. not sweeping. Stating that gluten sensitivity is a farce is sweeping. I, as the scientist that I am, have ensured that I have not swept.

I find it super uncomfortable to go commando in any kinda workout gear so noooooope. I also refuse to wear a thong to workout. Why would I incur such torture? My ample behind is gonna get stared at regardless, and I couldn't give a rats patootie about VPLs. I've yet to hear, "OMG what a fantastic butt, but ewwww panty…

Caeliac is often the only "legitimate" illness mentioned but that is a grossly myopic view. Many autoimmune diseases, particularly those that involve inflammatory responses are exacerbated by high gluten foods--so yes, there is some merit to claiming gluten sensitivity, and therefore avoiding those foods. Many, if not all,…

Not a transguy but affirming AF :D Feel free to add me (unless you're creepy, or you think you might be creepy, or you're on the creepy spectrum :s )

Insulin resistant, medicated, candy lover :( :) :(

I'm going to echo what most have said: adjust your expectations. 8 lbs is alot for even the average "healthy" person. I have found that once I stay on my meds, Metformin, and monitor my sugar intake I dont have an issue losing weight. I have even discontinued my birth control and I've seen no ill effects.

It's my almost guilt -free crack addiction. I shall have one a week for the foreseeable future.

lol I love the tiny disclaimer afterthought. Lolz.

I have: - SLE lupus -Fibromyalgia -PCOS -Hypothyroidism -Low B12 -clotting disorder -Clinical depression -Generalised Anxiety -Some degree of social anxiety (that i did overcome to work out at my TINY gym) Believe me hun, there were setbacks but now I dare someone to say I'm not a weightloss success. :drinker: Keep at it!…

I prefer oatmeal cookies to chocolate chip anyday so cant imagine why this would be a bad idea! I'll add a lil nutmeg and wine soaked raisins :) Thank you! :flowerforyou:

this made me chuckle. :drinker: to the nerdy

Youre welcome hun. All the best! :)

I dont limit my carbs much. Frankly it simply isn't feasible for my energy levels ( I have several autoimmune diseases outside of PCOS). I do avoid rice and potatoes. Limiting any medium/large portions to twice a week but thats for my own sanity. Eating that much rice simply makes me feel guilty lol. I watch my calories…

Bananas- "prepackaged" fruit, no tupperware needed. Usually 89 to 105 cals. I also keep a half cup container with crackers, dried cereal. Usually 90 to 120 cals. Wafer crisps are a good snack for me plus it kills a sweet craving. Usually 100-150 cals PBn J sandwiches. I shy away from peanut butter because each caloric…

1) I hate telling people that I feel LESS healthy than I did before I began losing weight. (Assbackward I know) 2) I wanna walk the dog...but I prolly wont. Maybe I will...but only because I love him 3) I had 3 marshmallows with breakfast #JudgeYaMama 4) Still have baked mac and cheese from Christmas, and it will be a part…

24 hours for the entire month? That seems pretty attainable. I'll support :)

Cause...onederland

Up 4.8lbs But I wont freak out about it. When you've lost as much as I have and you were aware of freedom in eating you really don't freak out about it :) It's the holidays and it was worth it to relax a little bit.

Thank you for responding! I haven't agreed to the Plaquenil just yet as I've seen my vision deteriorate even without added medication. Im waiting to speak to a third rheum. in a few weeks so hoping for another option :)

Just because you state a label needn't mean it's a cemented label-role correlation. It's all in good fun :drinker:

definitely curvy, working on the fit. Working on cutting the sugar to help with my midsection jiggles but the evil sweet tooth gnome keeps me reaching for candy -_-
-
When I stop being hungry. I don't subscribe to a cut off time for eating. All about figuring out what works for you. My cut off time never affected my loss, and I think it silly to go to bed uncomfortably hungry.

How awesome!! Im so happy youre happy! I wont say "keep it up" or any such cliche, just keep being happy! I know the rest will come :flowerforyou:

I kicked Cymbalta to the curb after 3 months. I was PAINFULLY and INCESSANTLY hungry. I could feel it making wanna shovel everything into my face! All the best! It can be done!
