That is not a cookie
and
never will be.
THIS
Tried it, baked for 25 min, not done, then an additional 10 minutes, still tasted nasty. Dogs will get the other 6 for as a breakfast treat in the morning. Really had hoped it would be edible as looked super easy and had the ingredients. Oh well.....thanks for sharing it though.
^Agreed. It was just bad. I'll just work real cookies into my calorie goals for the week.0 -
thanks going to have to try these!0

I prefer oatmeal cookies to chocolate chip anyday so cant imagine why this would be a bad idea!
I'll add a lil nutmeg and wine soaked raisins
Thank you! :flowerforyou:0 -

I came up with this after watching Hungry Girl use pumpkin puree to make Muffins. A this point in the month instead of going to the store, I try to make everyone use up what we already have. In this case I have lots of Instant oat meal and a left over can from the Holidays. Perfect! They turned out pretty darn good, and were picky eater kid tested.
1 Packet of Quaker Instant Oat Meal. ( I used Weight Control Maple & Brown Sugar for this one, any flavor will do!)
1/2 Cup of Libby's Pureed Pumpkin.
1 Tbsp Water
Scoop out into 1 Tbsp piles and mash them down a little.
Makes 7 mini cookies
29 Cals per cookie
350 for 25 mins. I did these in the Toaster oven set on bake. Seriously.
I didn't this time, but you could add in whatever you'd like, and use whatever flavor of oatmeal you have or would like. Raisins, Dates, Cinnamon or even a little nutmeg would be very good.
Feel free to add in any variations on this. I just used what I had on hand.0 -
Bump to make :-)0

I'm going to try this. sounds yummy! I eat instant oatmeal every morning for breakfast.0

Thanks OP, that is my kind of recipe (easy).:happy:0

As far as I know, pumpkin puree is just pumpkin. Pumpkin pie filling has spices and other ingredients in it. You could probably use the pie filling in the recipe and might be even tastier, but the calorie count would be different.0

Oh my! Seriously will try this! Great breakfast option! Will use the old-fashioned oats and maybe some pumpkin pie spice.0
