Keep your butt down, your weight should be more on your heels ( think of the bar riding up your shins). Don't think of it as lifting the weight off the ground, think of driving your hips forward.

I travel weekly for work, have done so for the last 20 years. There is no doubt that travel makes it more difficult to maintain good eating habits. A few things that I do to try to maintain. I always keep some bars (power bars, clif, etc) with me so that I have a decent snack when I get hungry Stop at a local grocery store…

I always eat before bed, otherwise I wake up in the middle of the night hungry.

Pretty simple, someone who truly loves and cares for you will support you no matter what you choose to do in your life. Find someone who is and will always stick by you.

I have done both sides. I have found jobs on Craigslist and posted jobs. You do get a lot of flaky people. Just do your research, always meet in a public or a business (no homes or abandoned buildings). No photos and make sure your resume does NOT have your address or any other identifying information on it. Your name and…

I have had many knee and ankle injuries over the years. I find that I have to play with my foot and toe placements to find a stance that works and that I can tolerate. Try changing your width, toes pointed more out or forward, etc. I also find that a very thorough warm up helps keep the pain away. I usually walk on the…

I have the BB with the digital display. I like it as I am kind of a techno-geek and like to be able to see the data immediately throughout the day. I had the version that synched to the phone, but it would never work correctly with my HTC so they replaced it free of charge for me. The subscription fee does suck, but I got…

I enjoyed P90X, the structured work outs made me do some different things that I had not done before (yoga for one, I hated that disc). Has both strength and cardio training incorporated. And it was fun to do, they were very motivational. I enjoyed it and would recommend if you are looking for strength and muscle gains as…

I prepare my food in advance and stick it in containers so that I can grab easily. We usually go hiking while camping so that is a great way to burn a lot of calories as well. Don't pack crap to eat, make sure you bring a lot of fruits, power bars, etc for fuel.

You are probably looking at the net calories versus the calories report. I think the net takes out your exercise.
