There is a 50 + under Group on MFP.... I am 61 so I guess I qualify. Age is in your head. I am having more fun and feel better now than I ever had before! Maybe I have finally got the right perspective on life!:bigsmile:

61 male .....Too new to have this thing figured out. I am eating about 1600 but netting out just over 1200 a day with excercise. Only been back at this since Jan 4th and have lost 11 lbs so far. I find that I just didn't realize what I was taking in. Once I tracked it I was able to see what I was doing to myself. Very supportive people on MFP who shared same goals as I do. I am older so please bare with me.... it is kinda like golf.....if you don't keep track how do you know how you are doing.:smile:

Call me crazy but I am doing both at same time. Not cold turkey but cutting down each week and I have smoked a long time. I set up a "food" called smokes. Each time I have one I put it in my diary. I hate thinking about getting on ther treadmilll but love it when I am on. I zone out and love it as it makes time go by much faster. Change my playlist at least once a week. Whoa !! Take it easy and don't beat yourself up! Probably eveyone on here has crashed and burned at least once and likely more than once. I know I have. Pick yourself up, dust yourself off and go at it tomorrow. Plan your food for the entire day and it will help you avoid snap decions on food. Yo do not suck!:wink:

I do 7 days a week on treadmill...... 4 days at 1 hour and 3 days at 30 minutes. Do it cause it makes me feel better...not sure of any scientific reason:wink:
