Today I DID NOT want to work out. I had the flu over the weekend and we're getting ready to go on vacation so I just figured why bother. But I finally just made myself do it. And now I feel so much better. It's amazing to me what 30 minutes of exercise can do for you!!:wink:

No I know exactly what you mean. I used to be tiny and in my mind I still am, but in the mirror I'm definitely not. I take a list too. Also I try to only go once every two weeks. I plan what we are going to have and then make my list. It saves me so much more $$, time and calories. Also it makes me less tempted to go out if I already know what's for dinner. :tongue:

We're here for you. A great place to start is to make little goals and changes so that it's easier to stick with. Maybe try swapping out soda for water or something else that's healthier and you can do. Good luck to you, you can do this!!!:tongue:

I eat a lot of apples, they're only like 55 calories and since their sweet and crunchy it helps keep me out of the chips and chocolate!! Also bananas are a great snack too, easy if you're on the go. I hope that helped a little.

I'm doing really good sticking within my calories but everyday I'm over on my protein. I don't know if this is hurting me or not. I eat all lean protein ( mostly elk meat) but I don't know if it's bad to be over everyday. Does anyone know? I think that it's probably alright if I stay within the calories, but I'm not sure.…

I'm starting a new six week program tomorrow where I'll do cardio MWF and weight training TTH. My question is this is pilates considered strength training or cardio? I know it's kind of a stupid question but I really want to incorporate pilates into my routine. Thanks for any help.

Me too, I'll weigh in tomorrow. I'm not looking forward to it because I bought a new digital scale and it weighs 5 pounds heavier than my old scale and that sucks, but I guess it's better to be accurate than to like what you see. Good luck everyone, I know mines going to be up.:tongue:

I agree with them I mean after all a calorie is a calorie at midnight or six am right. However I would stay away from sweets just because you wont be active enough to burn them off. Enjoy your snack and the rest of your day off.:wink:
