One year ago today I lost my granddaughter...

Today is the anniversary of the passing of my lovely granddaughter. She was just 19 when lukemia took over her life and God decided it was time to give her peace of mind and body. Today was a hard day but a good day for remembering a sweet and loving person. I am posting a poem for my baby girl today on this page. I pray that no one will mind. It somehow gives me peace to see a remembrance in her name and know that others will be thinking about her as well as family. I am totally indulging myself here, no offence intended! Miss Mallory Miss Mallory
We miss you so much
We long for your laughter
We long for your touch
Though we know where your are
Our hearts always ache
For the fulfillment and love
That you brought to this place
When we close our eyes
And envision you there
You appear in His glow
And we offer up prayer
We thank God above
For His protective arms
That embrace you with peace
With no cause for alarm
When we remember the pain
You so bravely endured
We couldn’t wish you back
For our own selfish accord
The angel your were
The angel you’ve become
Has united our hearts
To a family of one

    She may not have been here long but she was put in your life for a reason, remember the wonderful times and the love and smiles she brought you in her short life. I can't imagine a loss of a child or grandchild, but she knows she was loved and appreciated and someday you will find her again in a better more forgiving place.
