I'm getting back on the weight loss journey again as well. My problem is just motivation and laziness. I see some good looking food and just want it. I also have some relatives who keep saying I don't need to lose weight and they are wrong. I weigh 180 now. My target is 160. I decided to just do it and try to stick with it.

I totally agree with this message. I got to my weight goal (and more) once before and gained back 50 pounds when being pregnant. I just gave birth about 7 weeks ago and have to lose 30 pounds to get back to my pre-pregnancy birth weight. Unfortunately, I was advised NOT to breastfeed, so it won't be easy losing the weight.…

Hi! I am about 19 weeks pregnant and am due on August 21. I am also a first time mom and will be 35 by the time the baby is born. Before the pregnancy, I was in great shape. Since I found out I was pregnant, I got off my exercise 'kick' and have been so bad with my food. Luckily, I have my husband's support, but it doesn't…

When I was 28, someone thought I was under the age of 18. I laughed and kept walking.

This happened to me too! I got my boobs when I was 9 years old. I actually had people talking about me thinking I had a 'boob job'! I also have a stumpy thumb on my left hand that looks NOTHING like the one on my right hand! My index and middle fingers on both hands have a HUGE curve outwards on them. It made it really…

Agreed! He's jealous of your accomplishment and instead of working on his own weight issue, he is deciding to tear you down with him! If he's not going to support you, why stay with him?!

I'm the sister . . . . The trainer had me doing weight training every other day. He also had me doing cardio work on the other days. I also stayed away from sugary foods, got plenty of protein, and ate six small meals a day!

I recently tried foam rollers and it really helped me!

I'm getting married this week and my cousin is getting married next fall. She is already planning her wedding. She also got engaged about three months after we did! To add to it, my fiance's family had two cousins get married a month and two months ahead of us. (We were actually the first to get engaged and set the date…

I tried it about a year ago and only got the jitters. I didn't loose anything. The only thing that worked for me was to count my calories and exercise.

I am 5'7". My high weight was 192 and my goal weight 140. Current is 140. I am now maintaining but I have huge muscles on my arms, legs, and almost have six pack abs. My lower abs are still being stubborn! LOL! My body fat percentage is 22% . . . .

Absolutely! I am getting noticed more in a good and in a bad way. On the good side, I get quite a few compliments! :) On the bad, when I was heavier, I was never told to lose weight. (I was 192, 5'7''). Now, I'm thinner (141 pounds) and I'm constantly told to "Eat something! You're too skinny!" I'm very fit and muscular,…

Awesome job! And you look great!

I agree, it looks more silver to me! I'd wear it! It's cute!

This made me giggle! LOL!

It is true that you can't spot reduce. You can only tone the muscles under your back. The best thing you can do is keep up on your diet and lifting weights. It'll take time, but it's worth it in the end!

I hope you went to the doctor for this. I have a form of epilepsy and this is what happens when I have seizures. It happens most often when I am going through a cycle or exercising.

I changed my back to my original last name because I didn't want to be associated with my ex.

It depends on the type of cleaning I'm doing. If it's vacuuming or dusting (where I'm going through a constant motion), then yes. If it's washing the dishes or any other sedatary exercise, then no.

I personally don't like facial hair. It is an interesting look . . . . it kind of reminds me of the guys from the 1800's

I felt so bad for my sister once. . . . she sat in a plastic chair and the legs came down and broke the chair. :(

Before I lost the weight, I was trying to find a different job and was going to a lot of job interviews. I felt like when I lost weight, people took me more seriously and respected me more.

In my opinion, Dr. Oz seems to send out quite a bit of information about how women/people can lose weight with different vitamins or drugs. He doesn't really focus much on how eating right and exercise are the key. I don't like how he sends out a message of "false hope" to some people. Personally, I used to try to lose…
