Those sweet potatoes were the bomb girl but unfortunately I had them in the hospital cafeteria where I spent my day with my mom. Maybe I will have a waffle though. I do have a sweet tooth. What about a Kellog Protein bar?

I have recently posted about this. I started back to MFP in the beginning of June. I lost 5 pounds in the first 6 days then nothing, I even gained back 3 pounds. I stayed stagnant for a couple weeks and now I'm back to losing again. I'm still not sure if I''m on the losing slope yet or if my body will once again head back…

I did this today with my vanilla coconut milk, walnuts, and 1/2 banana. I still added bs, but not as much. It was so filling I couldn't finish it.

Oh wow, I was going to try that next until I seen how much it costs :noway: . I've heard it was really good though...well only from one person. I can't tolerate the after taste I get from almost all sweeteners (even Splenda).

I feel your pain. This same exact thing happened to me last week. I had a 3 lb gain when I had been staying under my calories and exercising :mad: . I knew it wasn't possible that I had ate that many calories over my maintenance, so I wasn't too worried about it. Plus it's been in the 90's and super humid here so I'm sure…

Thank you so much! I'll decrease my cals a bit and see if that makes a difference. Also I will try to squeeze in some extra exercise. I will probably go and have my thyroid tested anyway because my mom is having problems with hers. She's scheduled for surgery to remove one side possibly both. Thanks again to everyone!!

I usually don't like the after taste I get from artificial sweetners so I do still use brown sugar in my oatmeal and sugar in my coffee. Maybe I could try the Truvia as I hear it's not bad at all. I have pop once in awhile, meaning maybe once or twice per week and I've switched to diet.

@bonnymom - I did notice that when I used the MFP calorie calculator, I wasn't losing ANYTHING!!! They had me at 1250 and it was just too low, I was having blood sugar dips and was always hungry too. Thanks for all the gret ideas. We ended up putting it on the grill with some seasonings including lemon pepper. Apart from OH overcooking it a bit, it was delicious. I like the mildness of the fish. I can't wait to try some of these other recipes. The fish tacos sound delicious.

This is great because we just got home from the zoo today and I logged my exercise and it told me I burned some outrageously high number of cals. I knew I couldn't have burned that much, but cutting it in half does make sense. Thanks!
