I would use Stevia. If you like soda they have zero cal drinks called Zevia. Also, they have flavors for water. It's a natural 0 calorie sweetner, but I've never been pregagnat so make sure you double check that w a Docter.

One idea maybe when you are eating your last calories, try not to eat after 9 or 10pm. Also, try eating more foods you like during the day even if they are "bad" then you may feel like not eating more in the evening hours. Just some ideas. Best of luck to you. Have you tried a Hostel? With kids I'm not sure how that would go but I have used one (by myself) in San Diego and it was fun. lots of foreign travelers who were super nice.

California Pizza Kitchen has good options, like seared Salmon looks great. ~500 cal Also, the Asian Crunch salad is great get the half also about ~500 Chipotle burrito hold the rice =D ~400 cal or get the salad option and save 180 cal from the tortilla shell.
