Why put yourself through that? Clearly fad diets are not going to work, so perhaps try thinking of it as a lifestyle change, not a "diet". Otherwise you'll just yo-yo when you stop abusing your colon and start eating more than one meal a day.

It's not a recipe but we use Kodiak Cakes brand. They're higher in protein, and in addition to batter, they have microwavable cups and frozen waffles. They are delish.

I like the Daiya shredded cheese. I've used it in eggs, and on salads or wraps. The cheddar and the pepper jack were both pretty good.

I've heard of Biofeedback, which is an evidence based practice for anxiety, depression, etc. It's really about learning to take cues from your body, to interrupt automatic responses to those cues and replace them with more adaptive ones. Really most of the work comes from you, as the patient, to do your homework and apply…

I love that their flours are cheaper than my local grocery store (almond, coconut, etc). The cauliflower gnocchi is great (frozen section). They have a great selection of dried fruits, nuts with different flavors. They have these sparkling beverages that I like-I can't remember the name but they come in four packs and one…

I am in for an AF August. My boyfriend and I are doing a whole30 and no alcohol is a part of that. But even if we weren't I'd be trying to cut down. I notice that I tend to overindulge and of course that leads to poor food choices, a lack of exercise, and feeling horrible the next day. Also recently I had an increase in my…

I tried those chicken crust pizzas. I didn't care for them-they were waaaay too salty. Trader Joes makes a good cauliflower crust pizza.

I didn't say anything about looks. I was commenting on the idea of the family/community picking potential spouses for each other. Not something that is done as often in my country (US), so I was wondering what country you were from that this is part of your culture.
-
What country are you from? I feel like arranged marriages would definitely give me a different feeling about the whole thing.

Another Rochesterian here to second the garbage plate! A day's worth of calories but SOOOO worth it! My personal fav is Steve T's in Gates.

I'd love some paleo buddies. My bf and I have been eating this way for a few months after completing a whole30, but we fall off track sometimes.

I have a few "friends" who are sliding into acquaintance territory. They aren't reliable, they dont' initiate anything, and I get tired of being the one to reach out. Not the type of friend I want. But I struggle to find new friends, though that's what I'd really like.

Why?

I really like Against All Grains. Her cookbooks are good too.
-
Try LivingLovingPaleo.com or AgainstAllGrain.com. I like they're recipes.

I switched from Coffeemate flavored creamer to Nutpods. They are a blend of coconut and almond milk. Much less sweet, but now I prefer it that way and can't stand sweet coffee! I think it's 20 cal a serving.

ketchup cantaloupe or honey dew?

I'm thinking having a nice poop would take care of that "buildup".

I did an Alaskan cruise last year on Royal Caribbean. It was amazing. We stopped in Juneau, Skaagway and Victoria, Port was in Seattle so we explored there as well. I cannot begin to tell you how beautiful it was up there. Of course, we went in June, so it was "warm".
-
I just got back from a five night cruise to the Caribbean. Ports in Grand Cayman and Cozumel. It was on Carnival-which I won't do again. It wasn't bad, but having been on Disney and Royal Caribbean, Carnival pales in comparison. Loved our shore excursions. We're talking about pricing Hawaiian cruises for next winter. We…

Check out Kelly Coffey-Meyers 30 minutes to fitness series. She has dvds and a Vimeo page. She has a few step workouts, including two step-boxing workouts-which are kickboxing/step hybrids.

You can't pick and choose where you lose weight. If your body loses weight around the midsection, cool. It might not. Keep to a calorie deficit and work on gaining muscle.

Gotta second the nut pods. I used to drink the flavored creamers and was one of the ones who swore it was something I couldn't give up. But now that I've been drinking this for a few months the old stuff seems way to sweet for me. And I'm saving over 100 calories minimum every morning.

following, I have the same issue. It only has synced with MFP once since I bought it.
-
I just completed a whole 30 and the only change I had other than weight loss was diarrhea. CONSTANTLY. Still trying to get that under control. Thanks Whole30!
-
If anyone talks to Carnival or knows if it's "social media" can they post back here? I'm going on a carnival cruise next month.

Which toxins are you trying to get rid of? Is the clean energy in place of coal?

I notice lower back aching when I do rows sometimes, I usually equate this to not tightening more core to support my lower back while I'm lifting. I need to strengthen my core more!
