my life addictions are Pintrest & MFP!

We're exactly the same! just hit 142 today! I have the same goal as you to get to 130-135...working off the last bit of stomach fat & a little on the thighs, then I'm switching to maintenance!

just downloaded it tonight! starting it tomorrow after work...i "pre-watched" it...looks similsr to 30DS but with some new, difficult looking moves! i'm excited to start it!

when she sets up her goals, she should choose "Active or Very Active" for her daily activity....don't log it as extra.

fun idea!

yes, it is just as good. 6W6P is made up of 4 levels. The moves are intense but if you can handle level 3 of 30DS then you shouldn't have trouble at all! Great job & congrats on your success!

very interesting...thanks for sharing!

so I weighed in today -- for the first time in 2 weeks. Skipped my weigh in last week because I knew I would just be disappointed from the Holiday weekend/family picnics. Good news - dropped another 1.2 lbs! WooHoo!! I am officially as skinny as I was 6 years ago when I started my freshman year of High School! I love…

I'm doing the c25k program, and I sat down and spent the time to go through the 9 week program printout and calculated the calories for each day/session. It took me about 35-40 minutes to do, but it was worth it for me because I don't have a HRM or anything else fancy. So I went through the exercise database and found…

Good morning everyone! Here's something to think about today...hope everyone one is enjoying the weekend! :flowerforyou: When things in your life seem almost too much to handle, when 24 hours in a day are not enough, remember the mayonnaise jar and the 2 Beers. A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some…

awesome job! I love the 30DS!

wow awesome success! I'm still on L2 of 30DS...but hoping to start another JM vid when I'm done with this one! What's Ripped in 30? Does it pretty much focus on the same muscles/exercises?
-
I know! I read yours and was like "the mayo jar!" so I figured I'd post it:happy:

haha....I do this ALL the time! I move it on to 3 different tiles on the bathroom floor JUST to make sure the # I'm seeing is accurate! This morning however....wish I could have found a magical tile that would have given me a better # - first time in 7 weeks that the scale went in the wrong direction:sad:

i was the same way when i started it, and i sorta thought of myself as somewhat in shape! Just stick to it, pace yourself -- maybe don't do the jumping jacks as fast as they are, etc. -- try to push your body through the pain. Take a 5 sec. breather if you need to and get back at it. Like JM says, its only 20 minutes, so…

I'd say do it on the same day once a week. If you start analyzing your weight daily you will make yourself go crazy! Especially because it can fluctuate so much day-to-day based on water weight, etc. Don't let it get you down! And celebrate your 15lbs of success, that's awesome! =)
-
awesome job! keep it up...it definitely sounds like you're on the right track! I love the shred too =)
-
whoops...that 9 was supposed to be a 6! (And I know that 6 is still steep too, but I'm using that # so that I will stick to pushing myself daily to do my Shred & c25k workouts! (I tend to "give up" sometimes) I'd starve if I tried to lose 9 in a month! =)

Okay so I'm 6 days late, but this challenge sounds awesome!!! Feel free to add me!... Allie7383- Finally finish the 30DS, get into the 130's, start and keep up with the bridge to 10k program! Black_Swan - eat back all exercise calories and keep up with my running plan Teee2- Lose these next pounds the healthy way with no…

I'd definitely say that you need to be getting ATLEAST 1200 net calories a day...getting less than that puts your body in starvation mode & hair loss is an effect of that. I'd make an appt. with your physician and work on getting 1200 cals in even after exercise!
-
way to go!
-
I am currently doing them both together...I think its helpful. Keeps things changed up a little. I do the shred daily & 3 times a week do the run on top of the shred.
-
I've been logging for 6 weeks now, and I don't see why I would ever stop! I ALWAYS have my Iphone with me everywhere I go, so I have no real reason to ever stop -- even if I do reach my ultimate goal! =)
-
i love the people who say -- "You weigh 168?! Oh well you are tall so it's okay" -- NO, it's not okay! Just because we are tall does not mean we should automatically weigh tons more!! ugh. that is always my biggest frustration.

everyone has a Daily "Calorie Goal" that you start every day with. When you log foods, the calories in them are subtracted from your calorie goal. If you exercise, you burn calories, so they are added back in to your "Cals remaining" example: 1200 Cal goal - 1500 calories consumed + 150 cals burned w/ccardio exercise =…

congratulations! I can't wait to see that day! Hoping to get there by the end of this month! And I think you deserve some B & J ice cream...but maybe just stick to a spoonful or two ;-)
