Thank you all for the good advice. I have been doing cardio first as I feel I need to do a warm up before I use the weight machines. I have been walking on the treadmill on an incline or using an elliptical machine on an aerobic program for about 35 minutes before going on the machines. I eat well, and do wait one day…

Been struggling. Finished W5D3 long run for 20 minutes last week, very tired, but did it. Did W6 Days 1 and 2 pretty well but cant seem to make the jump to finish the 25 minute run. Tried it twice and seem to poop out around 18 minutes. Part of it is mental-- fear that I won't be able to complete the run since I didn't do…

Go walk in the shopping mall. Everyday go a little bit farther. Listening to audiobooks helps to distract and helps get your mind off your discomfort. Remember, this is a marathon, not a sprint. Don't give up.

I use fat free 1/2 and 1/2 by Land O Lakes. The fat free version is 15 calories per 2 tablespoons. Land O Lakes also makes a low fat version which I believe is 25 calories per 2 tablespoons. Skim Plus makes a similar product.

I'm not very alert or creative at breakfast time. I've been eating the new Special K Flatbread Breakfast Sandwiches. Although the Almond Breeze carton it says use within seven days of opening it does keep in the refrigerator without spoiling. I wish that it would come in quarts instead of 1/2 gallons though.

Didn't like the Dannon one either. Tasted chalky to me. The Fage and Chobani brands are the best IMHO.

Decided to try swimming today. Did 12 lengths in a 25 meter pool for a grand total of 0.18 mile! Not too much mileage but glad I attempted it.

Thanks all for the advice. I ended up repeating the week and today I finished W5D3! Phew! I was exhausted, but I did it. Looking forward to starting week 6 and going back to intervals.:love:
