Hold the phone.... 14 miles a DAY?!?! I aspire to her greatness!!! But also, yeah, I've been on advair for a number of years and haven't been having any trouble with my weight loss aside from just not eating like I should.

Team Blue! Jumping Jacks are completed, and we're about 40% to our calorie goal with 5 of the 7 of us reporting in (if I didn't get a message from you I checked your diary, but I don't have anything on aubrey or lc522 yet). You can keep tabs on our progress here:…

Aaaahhh, see, that's it, STRATEGY!!!! We're gonna rock this thing.

Wait a second... *grabs calculator*... 4 dogs... x 2 miles.... is EIGHT MILES with your dogs?!?!?! I think I would faint. (the calculator probably wasn't really necessary, I think my brain just broke thinking how long it would take my short little legs to walk 8 miles......)

Loved it. That may be because 'Super Size Me' left me more annoyed than anything and I enjoyed seeing someone poke fun at it. And I very much enjoy the common sense aspect of the argument this piece makes.

See? Blue Team got skills.
-
And if I have anything to do with it, team blue will have a brilliant and beautiful graph to show how quickly we buried every other team :)
-
Haha, you and me both Dana. You know it's serious when the treadmill and I have a date at 7 am on a Saturday.

I'm not hearing much from the rest of my blue team.... where are you guys!?!? 5300 calories, we got this all day long! Should we be reporting our progress in individually, or have a team administrator that reports back to fat2fab?
-
But the socks might weigh an ounce!! I'll just be painting my toenails :D Or zooming in reeeeeeeeeeally close to the numbers!
-
I'd love to be a part of the blue team if we can recruit enough people! Just to clarify... you want me to take a picture of my scale with my starting weight? Haha. Time to invest in a pedicure I guess.

Ezekiel bread! I've always been one of those people who likes to literally see whole grains in my bread. And it makes the best tuna sandwiches ever.

Necessary in moderation. I keep my goals set to 40% carbs, 30% protein, 30% fat (roughly) and don't sweat it if I end up with as much as about 50% carbs on any given day as long as I'm hitting my protein mark. I also try to get most of my carbs from fruits and veggies, yogurt, etc and limit the bread/rice/potato/pasta love…

I'm so full from breakfast I can hardly think about the rest of today.... Breakfast - Chobani Black Cherry Yogurt, 15 sweet cherries, vanilla protein shake Snack - Green apple with 1 tbsp light carmel dip Lunch - Tuna with miracle whip on ezekiel bread Snack - 2 light string cheese sticks Dinner - 8 oz roasted turkey…

What type of cramp? I (and probably everyone else in the world) get a terrible stitch in my right side about 50% of the time when I run, and I've searched and searched for an answer and all I've been able to find is that there's a million theories about what causes it. Everything I've read says sometimes stretching helps,…

Perfect! Thanks!!

I used it for about a month and everyone warned me that I should be SO very careful with it because people had experienced jitters and nausea and every other side effect that comes with a diet pill. I felt nothing. Nada. Zip. No caffeine jitters, no nausea, no increased energy... no weight loss. Giant waste of money.…

It may help to reduce your carbs and up your protein intake for a while, if you're not doing that already. I was consistently creating a calorie deficit of 600 calories a day and not losing anything for over a month... and then I reevaluated and found that my carb goal in my diary was really high. I reset my calorie intake…

Find something with lots of protein - nuts, kashi cereal, yogurt, low fat cheese, a little bit of peanut butter on your celery... They're higher in calories than your fruits and veggies, but they'll fill you up longer. And drink your water!! If you think you might be getting hungry after you just ate, take the edge off…

I'm 5'1" on a tall day, and I feel like heels and long tops are my best friends. Longer sweaters and baby tees accentuate the curves and make your torso look longer, so paired with the heels that make your legs look longer you've easily added a couple of inches. I think my longest sweater is fitted and comes to about…

Can I still get in on this?? My birthday was Wednesday and I was using that as a goal reset, so this is perfect :) Original SW - 185 01/05/11 SW - 165 CW - 164 (as of yesterday morning) GW - 120 Three Month goal: 150 Week 1 (1/7) - 164 Week 2 (1/14) - Week 3 (1/21) - Week 4 (1/28) - Week 5 (2/4) - Week 6 (2/11) - Week 7…

30 Day Shred had me in tears on multiple occassions, as did some of the other biggest loser DVDs. I've sobbed through many a jumping jack. It will pass :) And sometimes it'll come back, just because you don't feel like working about, but know that you should. Point is, we've all cried!! You are not alone!!
-
We're already buddies, but hi again, and welcome!! I'm really excited to have another like-minded person in a similar life situation to tackle this with!!!!!

Biggest Loser Weight Loss Yoga!! You can customize the workouts to be long/short, easy/hard, and it's very quiet :) I do it in the mornings before the rest of my family gets up because it doesn't wake them and I get some me time.
-
I had to sort of chuckle today at the irony.... due to the recent loss my family has experienced and I guess the wounds being too fresh they have decided to cancel that family Thanksgiving. Which means less family support... but also less food. Ha.

You all look amazing!! I'm excited to get back at it now... hopefully if I can be anything like you these 50 pounds won't know what hit 'em. Memorial Day 2009 (190 lbs) vs August 5, 2010 (155). I'm back up about 10 pounds from the second photo... but plan to correct that pretty quickly here :)
-
I started in April, gained some back, and am starting over again.... would absolutely love to be your friend. Sending request now :)

You guys are wonderful, thank you. I had actually made an appointment with a therapist for next week just in case - I am just usually really on top of things and am having a hard time accepting that I really might need some help here. I'm going to get back to the calorie counting this week, go to my appointment on…

I'll tell you from experience - there is nothing like being told by a doctor one year that you need to lose weight, and going back the next year having lost 10, 20, 30, however many pounds. The look on his face will be ABSOLUTELY priceless. I got the impression from my doctor that he didn't think I could do it.... now…
