I don't have one yet but I plan on getting one- therefore, I think they are SWEET! GOOD FOR YOU!!!!! My motivation is my work-out partner. Whenever I give up and take a break, I see her keep going and making noises of determination. It is my motivation to keep going because I'm competitive when it comes to fitness and seeing her push herself to the limits every time we do an Insanity work out is just . .…

I thought skipping breakfast wasn't healthy. . ? I normally eat breakfast even though I am not hungry so I can get my metabolism/blood sugar going. I do become hungry about 3 hours later and eat a handful of peanuts or I have a coffee after my breakfast and then suck down water till lunch. Having coffee and then water is…

My highest was 165 (I'm 5'2") and currently at 143 (YEA!) but still have 15-20lbs to lose. I feel so much better and my knee no longer bothers me as much. I also feel more sensual and confident.

Bump! (I am also interested since I hit my plateau and still have some weight to lose.)

Keeping it under 1200/day is going to cause your metabolism to slow down and push your body into starvation mode. I would not want you to deprive your body of the nutrients it needs to heal, so I would eat the maintence calories (the necessary amt to maintain your current weight) and then when you get the clean bill of…

This sounds extremely interesting yet I can't help but say . ."EWWW!" I will have to talk to my doctor next time I see her about this. It sounds like a good replacement especially for those who are constantly scared of leaking through at work (me!) but after being scared to death about TSS as a tween, I can't imaging…

Eating only 900 calories NET is NOT HEALTHY! You should be eating the calories that you are exercising off. I believe anything less than 1200 net, makes your body think it is in starvation mode causing everything to slow down and hoard all and any calories you put into your body.

Thank you all for the great advice- much appreciated!!:flowerforyou: :drinker: I weigh myself everyday as a motivational tool. Its really easy to stay motivated when I can see that it is making a difference. Also, I thought it was a "plateau" in the sense that normally I lose anywhere between .2-.6lbs/day but I was…

I agree and it is very true!!! A couple of summers ago, I joined a gym and it had a deal about a month long membership where they would weight and measure you at the beginning of the trial period and then at the end. (They also walked you though what workout you should do to maximize weight loss.) I would weigh myself…
