    Just did a canoe/kayak trip. 7.5 miles... you think that counts??? We got 4 kayaks and 1 canoe, and we took turns between the family. Took almost 5 hours... I am so ready for a nap!

    Ok. Just finished the WATP 2 mile. That puts me at 6 out of 10. I might make my goal yet! Happy walking everyone!

    Hi everyone.

    So far I've done 4 out of 5 miles. I'll hit my goal tomorrow for sure. This last mile I did something different. I added 5 lb ankle weights to each leg. It was great and I burned nearly double the calories. Now we'll see if this translates into more lbs lost in a week.

    Next week I think I will up my goal from 5 to 7 miles. Slow and steady wins the race.

    I just hit my 5 mile goal thanks to Leslie Sansone and Exercise TV. It's too damn hot to walk outside in FL these days. Exercise TV is awesome. I have been so sedentary for most of my life even 5 miles was a challenge. I feel great. Next week I'm going to go for 7 miles. My goal is to do the C25k.

    I walked 12 miles this week. I did walk more but didnt keep track of the miles over the weekend.

    Ok, I'm crying in my oatmeal this morning. I walked 9.3 out of my 10 miles (not bad), but I'm up 1.5 lbs. This sucks! I was under all week on my calories. I averaged just under 1200. I think maybe I wasn't eating enough because of activity. My daily goal is 1460 and with exercise I net the just under 1200. Any ideas?

    I'm regrouping myself! This is a new week. I'm going to tackle it head on! My goal will still be 10 miles. I've decided to count the distances i walk but to only include them in MFP if they are meant as exercise. Not when I walk the dog around the block, which is something I've always done. I think I'm giving myself too many exercise calories. Let's see what next Tuesday brings.

    I did 2 miles today - not sure if that would go with last weeks 10. Hope so because I was just shy of 10 before. Now it would be 11.2 I think. For week 2 I think I'll keep the 10 miles; I'm going to try and do some different activities also.
